Such a tough choice. Do what make your ❤️ happy!!!! You have 2 beauties. I just ordered the monogram a few mins ago and was shocked to see it’s was in stock. I really been eying the black leather but the monogram has been on my wish list for years and I have the hobo Métis which has been retired. I love that bag too and it’s was my first LV so it’s staying in my collection and now being joined by the sister bag, the pochette Métis!!! Enjoy your bags!!!!!

I would certainly keep the reversed monogram and only because of the black leather instead of vachten , this reversed one will stay carefree for ever

Congrats on finding the reverse. It’s really hard to find as you’ve mentioned. 👏 just wanted to point out the reverse in the PM looks a wee bit harder to style and match in my opinion. Plus reverse monogram will tend to get color trf too if you’re not careful. But I certainly agree the black leather handles are a huge plus. Good luck with your decision 👌

I think the reverse is really pretty and has the wow factor but the mono is more classic and easier to match with outfits. I just ordered the reverse but it is a little loud. Ive had two mono pm's that had issues over time. (My favorite is the black Empreinte version.) I think you should keep the reverse as it's a nice change after 5 years, especially if you have other mono bags, also a nice distraction from these troubling times.

@@Vicky-hn7ni I'm in the US and you have to refresh the screen until you can add to bag. I did this a few times a day. It took me a couple of days but both Mono and reverse popped up.

Reverse! Monogram is already a very common print. If you have a bag with an original print, then take the reverse.

Keep the original 👍🏼 I am debating between the original or the black empreinte for my bday! 😆 they are all available here in Canada at the moment maybe because due to covid. No store purchase makes it easier for people to buy the bag but I rather go in person to actual feel and see the bags for any defects. I’ve seen a lot of reviews about having defects.

Hi There both look beautiful! Quick question; did you mention you have the classic for 5 years? The vachetta patina looks great. How often did you use the bag?? And How did you protect it. Much appreciated if you can share tipps. Thanks!

Yes it’s a 2015 model. I’ve worn it a handful of times but only on dry or sunny days. I keep it in dust bag in a dark cupboard when not in use to ensure the patina isn’t prematurely increased. I never touch the handle unless my hands are washed and free from moisture etc. It may sound overkill but it just helps maintain an even and natural patina and prevents stains. I know some people tie a twilly or scarf on handle too which would also slow down the patina process. I hope that helps and thanks for your comment and stopping over to watch the video. X

I think the main reason being I wanted some variation as I have two other monogram bags in my collection and also the reverse doesn’t have vachetta so I can get more wear out of it. I was always wary of staining the vachetta on the monogram so didn’t wear it much.

Visual Musing I love the mono but like you worry re the vachetta. Your mono looks in fab condition! Did you not wear it much over last 5 years? I’ve got a mono neverfull which was my first bag in 2015 and never bought a mono bag again. The only other mono I have is the black neo noe which is beautiful and no vachetta. I wish the mono pm came like this! London always tends to have rain so end up getting caught out in the rain and damaging bags. Any issue with staining on your reverse with denim?
