Good luck parking your car outside your house on a terraced street. And even if they mark the spot for you. Still good luck, because no one cares about that when they are trying to park.

On street charging - has anyone explained to (1) the government and (2) the people driving cars that no-one has a right to park outside their home (or anywhere else on the public carriageway for that matter)? Shell out hundreds of pounds for a kerbside charger outside your front gate only to find somebody else parked in 'your' space (probably a spark installing another kerbside charger two doors down). Still, £350 is £350...

£350 for the sparkler, and we have to deduct £4000+ to pay for the civil/plant construction. Sounds like a great deal.

I spent over 2years working down there for BAS, you won't see any huskies, they've been banned since 1994

We charge on our street via lampost chargers which has been great but recently they have switched from Ubertricity to Shell (same company it turns out) have taken the over & doubled the cost per kw! So this grant is fantastic new we can always park outside despite being a terraced street (nice neighbourhood) however Hounslow Council won’t allow us to get the gullie installed in the pavement.! What’s the point in the bloody grant!!

You need a 40 ton battery to get decent range... unfortunately this then leaves no room for any cargo..😅

Any work on a county High way , the contractor had to have a section 51, so if you took up paving and some one tripped over your finished work ? a court case ? BE ADVISED AND ASK THE COUCIL BEFORE YOU QUOTE THE CUSTOMER . DUE DILEDENCE . The Government said an oven ready Brexit , so are they going to let any Sparks dig the pavement up . ?????? 🤔🤨

Yeah, one of customers has one great idea, however he has a dedicated parking space. If I was paying for it to be installed I would expect the parking space to be allocated to my property and that open another can of worms.

Problem with the Ozev grants... Just like before... It's not worth the aggravation and paperwork for smaller operations. Customers will just see it as a discount they're entitled to. Will only benefit bigger boys with teams of office waddlers.

Dam stupid re the guys for ev There are better solutions which avoid this stupid dangerous alteration to the pavement. Anyone intersted look for more information there are units which fold out and are above human height that cross the pavement to thr car. The other stupid part is all the arguments that will take place over car parking outside your own house.
