5:30. Such solid wisdom about putting the driver away if you’re having an off driving day. All too often I try to power through and work it out on the course and all it does is lead to frustration and a really bad day. Never discount your mental well-being on the course!

Truly Micah, thanks for the tip on putting away the driver and regain confidence with my more accurate long irons. I have been taking my 3 iron off the tee more lately just trying to get dialed on course management, but there have been days where my driver absolutely ruined my entire round. I'll be playing a round today and this advice will probably come into play!

Love it! I just won 4 matches in a big amateur event to win my flight! Driver escaped me but I was able to use the trusty 3 wood so comfortable with that club and I was hitting it as far as my competitors drivers so that driver of mine stayed in the bag all week😁🏆! And your a beast my dude💪

Being in the Plano area and watching you and all playing these courses helps knowing or trying different courses to play. Started using my 4iron because my driver and I arent seeing eye to eye right now. Surprisingly good results. Never would have pulled it out if I wasn't watching your videos. Hey Bro, I think the "put the driver away" advice works with lower HC, higher ballspeed golfers.... we can find the center of the face more and hit irons quite a bit further. For the average golfer that is, say, hitting an inside-out slice with their driver, they are going to hit the same shot with a long iron and be stuck with a long iron in. This is explained better in the Decade golf system. Sheeek it out when you have a couple hours to burn. Love your videos dude... keep grindin!

I was teeing off with my 3 iron when I finally gave up on hitting my driver. It was given to me and I always knew it was too long for my height. Such a satisfying club when you hit it pure.

My first time watching your golf channel! My buddy plays a full set of those Wilson Staff irons including the 2 iron(steel shafts) 🐊🏌️‍♂️⛳🇺🇸👍

I hit that club at a pga superstore and can tell you this is one of the best long irons in terms of forgiveness when there is very little with a long iron. I personally use a Taylormade GAPR mid but if I was to choose a traditional iron it would have been this one.

VIDEO IDEA... SPEED SCOTCH FOURSOME / ACCELERATED ALTERNATIVE. At the start of each hole players must select their chosen club (no club changes can be made once tee shot is taken) before making their way to where they think the ball will stop rolling to be able to hit it instantly (if possible). This will require straight hits and caution around bunkers (if the putting player has a putter and Stephen lands another bunker it could be a high score for that hole) each player has their own cart and must leave for their spot and be in place before the tee shot can be taken. Par 5's 4th player is allowed 2 clubs (chip + put) to use if required. The putting player holes out. Time matters with this game as over your pre allocated time for the hole it's +1 every 30 seconds thereafter is another stroke. Keep up the great vids guys

Watching you hit your 2 iron caused me to purchase an 18° and a 21° clubs. I only can drive on average 200yds and I'm in the fairway 75% of the time. I struggle hitting hybrids and woods straight. Thanks for the tip on the irons. This alone brought 15 strokes a round off my score. Enjoy watching all of the good good team and again, thanks for any info and tips. Hittm far and straight.

I think you're playing great Micah and I love the two iron and seeing you pitch with the pitching wedge. I'd like to suggest a couple of other things to help you out. 1 - use your 9 and 8 irons to chip with up to as much as 20 yards and see if you can chip them on and roll them in. 2 - play for some wind when you're putting, because the wind is going even faster along the ground and will stop a put from breaking and cause it to break more, especially on downhill putts. If you get the chance, play the WilsonStaff Model golf ball. They are amazing! Everything I play with is Wilson Staff. D200 irons, and Cortex Driver. Might look at changing out the driver, but maybe I’ll check the Model 2 iron.
