I was too, and I wasn't even there. Sad to see someone young and probably around the peak of their career/physical activeness/etc etc have a countdown timer that they can't see. She can't plan to have kids without the worry of dying before giving birth, or leaving the child behind with the father. I thought he was gonna say that he quits smoking for good. I think I would if I was a smoker.

I love how he didn't laugh along with her when she tried to make light of the cancer. He contained both his and her emotions and remained calm but serious. An absolute diamond. Seriously, I love him...

That's the interesting thing with dying people. Death is beatiful, and when people know in their heart that they're dying, it cuts through all the bullshit and you know you're going to be in the presence of honesty.

It was her trying to act like she's coping whilst nervously laughing, losing her train of thought and barely holding back tears that got me. I bet she balls her eyes out when shes alone.

I read an interview where they had a good first date but She didn't fancy him. She volunteers for Marie curie but not sure how she is now. They remained friends and he took her motorbiking after her kemo treatment finished.

My mother was in NED from cancer for almost 10 years till it returned and she didnt make it. In the kind of cancer she had, the survival graphs usually terminate in 2-3 years; she made it to 10. I believe her positive attitude aided a lot in that-- I can totally connect with Annie here. I am writing this in 2022, several years after this video was uploaded.

What an incredible woman, so beautiful and such a positive attitude. If I was that guy, I would love her and make her last few years special. If anyone knows how I could contact her, I would be more than happy to donate so she can achieve most things on her bucket list. Incredible.

Simply incredible. When I watched this I was feeling sorry for myself because a couple of people had dropped out of my wedding. But boy, this really makes you think and puts things in perspective. What a small, insignificant pain I was feeling. I wish this brave and inspirational woman all the best things in the world.

I got the Magic I literally just explained it to you. It has nothing to do with Hod unless that’s what YOU CHOOSE to believe. Which is completely fine. But the decision of a miracle is “a highly improbable or extraordinary event, development or accomplishment that’s brings very welcome consequences.”

True ,but until you've lost your partner young to cancer it's hard to imagine how it can rip your soul out. I don't think I could handle it a second time . If I was him I'd want to be there for her and make her remaining life happy but just couldn't handle the heartache of watching the person you love slip away ,it's not a peaceful way to go. Hope she finds Love.

I feel like Crying at this,i just want to give her a hug..i have blood cancer/hodgkins lymphoma which is curable but taking a year and more to be cured..still having treatment and its been a year today..How brave is she to say that on a first date? 😊 😆

Stay strong. I have Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia and have had it for 10 years now and take a targeted anti cancer drug everyday to keep it at bay. I can have a bone marrow transplant but the fatality rate is high. Even now I still have good and bad days, it’s more the side effects of the medication.

I was sitting here crying over a bad breakup and this made me feel ashamed I felt like no one suffers like me right now buhhu. and then seeing this woman appreciate life tho she is dying.. give lots of perspective :/ So sad. feeling for her. what a strong mind!

The only person you ever needed in life was your mum and that was only for the first 9 months. You weren't born with a boyfriend/girlfriend. Every other person in your life is there by choice, your choice. You never want to need a partner, the goal is always to want them around. My girlfriend don't need me, I don't need her, I'll never need her. I'll never need a partner, nobody does. Hope this gives you perspective on future relationships. You don't need a man/woman, just great having a good one to share life with #knowyourworth 😎

Gosh I love them ! My mum was diagnosed with 6 mnths back in 2015. She was home and had nursing care for the duration of her illness . Passed in her own bed in her own room . Couple of weeks after she was diagnosed a young policeman went out to work and was shot to death in the line of duty . He had 2 v young children . He was 44 yrs old. My mum knew roughly how long she had . And in some ways was quite ready . This man had no idea , and he was killed outside his patrol car. One never knows .

im in the same boat, liver cancer. lord save us from well intended people..i got 2-3 years, wish i could meet someone like her, im in a good place mentally, im still a chef, for one. but there are no dating site or even support groups for my type of cancer, so we generally struggle, suffer and die alone just to save everyone from having to see us, thus stealing what is the last best days we can share with another..its wrong,
