When I was like 14, I had a pet spider that I took to church camp, and all the girls were horrified by it (it was like one cubic millimeter, they were just being dramatic), but on the last day this girl was trying to be nice and was like "Oh is that your spider? Where is it?" And I looked so I could point it out and it was dead :'( I felt so bad because I know she was just trying to be nice and the situation was so awkward and unfortunate, but I still think about it and laugh sometimes. His name was Walter.

To the first girl, this is EXACTLY how I felt following our wedding. We had been together for so long that it almost didn’t feel like we had actually gotten married. Everyone hyped up a wedding to be something so perfect and magical… but it just felt like a fun day. I will say, it does get better. Once I realized those expectations were stupid, I finally was able to enjoy this new part of our lives.
@lifewithkirsten7670

My husband and I had a very simple court wedding as neither of us wanted a big expensive wedding. I had my dress and white rose wedding bouquet and he had his nice expensive shirt, slacks, and shoes. I had my mom and dad there which I regret they're both abusive and absolute trash, and he had his mom and grandmother there. That's all we wanted. We had a 3 day mini honeymoon right after. It was so fun. But neither of us felt like we had just gotten married. When we got home it was as if the only thing that changed was me moving in. It was like that for a few months. Almost 6 months honestly. Then it had just hit both of us like "shit we got married 6 months ago!!". We thought it was funny how it all happened. No one was upset that it took so long for it to hit the other. Idk if all of it was because we both still feel like teenagers (he's turning 25 next month and me 21 in August) due to childhood trauma and severe trauma endured during teen years since we were both forced to grow up around age 7-8 so there wasn't a shift in responsibility once we became adults. Like everything we were already doing our entire lives, basically, were all adult tasks and responsibilities. Or it's something else idk
@ariana8734
@ariana8734 2 жыл бұрын
I came here to say something similar. Media paints weddings as being "the best day" or "the perfect day". That's not true for most people though. My wedding was a fun day, but I kept just thinking that I was at a wedding and forgetting it was my wedding (despite the veil and big white dress lol).

@@The_Life_of_Maddy My husband and I waited and didn't live with each other beforehand, and it still wasn't magical. Honestly, the days leading up to the wedding felt so stressful and caused me to be so anxious that I was so tired after the wedding. We were both relieved it was over, but we also couldn't believe that it meant we were finally married. It was like, "Wow, that was a lot of stress for what it was."

That first secret hit differently. My mom felt the same way. She just felt nothing when she married my dad. Perhaps she knew deep down that she didn't want to do it but she did it anyway. When she had kids she felt trapped, especially since we were religious at the time so leaving your spouse was very frowned upon. She ended up cheating on him and we basically got kicked out of the religion and weren't allowed contact with other family members (yeah, we used to be Jehovah's Witnesses) anymore until we went back. I used to resent her for it because I didn't understand, but now that I opened my eyes and saw how happy she is to be free from him, I'm glad she did. Sorry for the long comment, just I thought I'd share since it reminded me of it.

From experience with owning hamsters, once the bladder and bowels let go there's no coming back from it especially with dwarf hamsters. So even if she said something and picked him back up, he would've either died within the hour, or if she was able to get him to an emergency vet right then there's nothing they would've been able to do for him. While what happened is upsetting, you kind of have to look at it one way at this point since it already happened. Since the bowels and bladder let go and there were only shallow breaths and no movement, that's indicative of either pain or other suffering while passing. And most of the time after bladder and bowel release, the animal has already died and any movement or anything seen as "shallow breaths" is just post mortem muscle contractions. So I don't think she buried him while he was still barely alive. However, if in the slightest chance she did, she ended his suffering rather than making him endure it for several minutes maybe an hour before finally passing.

Maybe whatever replaces KZfaq can have a more complicated rating / warning system for its videos; Like the Movie industry's ratings of "G" to "PG" to "PG -18" and etc. (Btw, no. I don't realistically believe KZfaq could be overhauled and "fixed". I think it is on Its way out, like any company or other large organization that has existed for too long).

On the first one, it may be possible that they had been so certain that they would marry their partner that in their head they were already married in a way. Like, they already went through the process of experiencing the emotions you’re “supposed to” experience on your wedding day prior to the wedding day. It’s like being told you’ve won an award and then going on stage to accept the award a month later. When you’ve won the award initially you’re excited and by the time you go to accept the award that initial wave of excitement is gone because you already know that it’s yours.

Idk if it’s just me but I kind of prefer the way Alyx did the revealing your secrets videos before.. I feel like her personality and comedic side shined through a lot more and the editing was hilarious, not that this wasn’t still great. This is still really interesting, and I love that the podcast episodes will be much longer than previous videos in this series. Keep up the great content, I love your videos!! 💕

I felt the same at the beginning. Maybe it’s because she was talking about sponsors the first few minutes, but I was hooked in at 30:60 that’s when she really started to laugh more.

I love the podcast so much! I was unsure of how the execution was going to be, but I love the layout. I especially love how theres more personable interactions like the voicemails and calls. It really humanizes that these are real people on the other end. I loved how you transformed from a KZfaq video for revealing secrets to what seems like a call line for people to tell their interesting stories. While we may not see the actual people, I love that the anonymity behind the screen has been unveiled to an extent. Im excited for whats up to come!!!
