The Connell's Special was a B-24 captained by Arthur Rogers and was a part of the 90th Bomber Group, the Jolly Rogers in the Pacific during WWII. It was the first B-24 to not be painted in a camouflage, instead having only the aluminium showing. It was also the second B-24 to be fitted with a nose turret. Arthur Rogers was instrumental in both of these modifications. This Revell kit has been painted, fixed, and recreated to the best of my abilities (side note, this is my first model build). Another thing that I did was wire the plane in order to make it 'work'. There is a set of constant lights, a set of flashers, and a set of motors. All of these are connected to a PICAXE chip mounted in the base to control the plane.
