Hi Mr. Crafty Pants! I found your channel through hearing about it by Ken’s Kreations! I have multiple sclerosis so using the cricut has been a life saver for me since my hands have tremors. One tip is put a few dots of hot glue on one side center once you have centered. Then let it dry then you can flip it and staple the rest of the side. Just so you have it secure! Looks great!!

@@mackenzieelizabeth7897 hi! Sorry for the late reply. I ended up using a removable vinyl on a canvas where I modpodge a Christmas paper bag decor. I just painted it black. But I did use an iron in one of my project using a burlap and it worked. You just have to keep checking if the vinyl is sticking on. I hope I make sense ☺️

What is your preference on the type of vinyl that you use for a reverse canvas? I've done a couple with just permanent vinyl on unpainted canvas, they seem to be holding up well. Just curious as to what you think and why :) love your videos!!!

Such a cool project. I think I'd use the svg for tshirts for my daughter's and I. I would also love to win the Cricut Joy, my sister and I love making projects but Don't live close anymore so to bring the Joy instead of my explorer air 2 would be so much easier. ♥️

Hello, I tried my FIRST htv vinyl on painted wood today and it didn't turn out too well. In fact, I ended up removing all the vinyl in the end and will sand the wood down and try again. I used Apple barrel paints (like you) and I let it dry OVERNIGHT. So, I'm not sure if I kept the mini heat press on too long (30-35 seconds) or if I didn't let the vinyl cool enough before removing the backing, but it pulled off a LOT of the paint around the vinyl and I even saw some spots where the glue on the htv may have melted and oozed out...😫 Where do you think I went wrong?
