Dear sir, Heavy motor only radial bearing occupied no thrust bearing. Because due to magnetic field rotor Rotating axial.mosstly manufacture gave rotor centre Position with marking...to correct dbse or dbff while rotor is centre Position.. initially u correct the dbse and dbff then u start the alignment boss

Sir is there any video for thermal growth offset alignment method? The manufacturer give offset reading value after that dial alignment will done.

I believe there is a mistake for horizontal correction since just from your horizontal reading it is obvious that you need to move the motor from left to right to correct the horizontal misalignment, kindly check pls.

During the operation all base bolts of motor should be tightened...

horizontal first and the next is the vertical much better..... centering first before shiming

Thank you for this good explanation. I am from Algeria. Is it possible to rotate the shaft of the motor alone and then rotate the shaft of the pump alone while taking measurements? Thanks

Why in this formula method the bar sag value and the 180 degree of sm mm value was not divided by 2. I saw graphical method on that video the value is divided by 2 plz explain sir.

Yes. But you cannot correct the misalignment thoroughly. Its like a bypassing.

How about the dial indicator position...? Are you looking for Radial or Axial...?
