as a base, how do i get the height to throw and catch and how do i keep it sturdy and not shake my hands/arms?

Working on both timing and power will make a huge difference in achieving the smooth toss. The shake could be coming from either the base or the flyer. It will take time for the base to build up that control and the flyer needs to work on staying tight at all times. If you have videos send them to us on instagram so that we can have a look and see where it is coming from :)

Hey I just started cheerleading 2 months ago and are doing group stunts as base only, can I try partner stunting? My upper body strength is still quite weak from what I can tell 😔😔

Hwa Bin Wong hey this is awesome that you’re just starting out! You can definitely try partner stunting. I believe partner stunting will help a lot with your group basing anyway! Just start off with easy skills and build up 😃
