Before you heat set, did you allow the shirt to dry fully or was it still damp when you pressed it? I’m doing my first one and this is by far the easier video I’ve seen!

Yes let it completely dry before heat setting

So you don’t have to wash it before adding your design? I’m going to add sublimation. Just curious if I need to wash and dry before that last step? Or if I can?

You don’t need to wash before bleaching or anything like that but I would wash it before you add sublimation if you are doing it after adding the spray dye

Would this work on non-black shirts? When you add the new color after bleaching - will it bleed into whatever color didn't get bleached?

Yes it will work on other colors but yes it will bleed into them the lighter the color the more noticeable it will be

How do you get the extra spray color off that goes on when your spraying your shirt ? (All the spray that goes on the spots that are not bleached)

I've done something similar to this but mine lost alot of it's colors after I washed it.. why would that happen if I heat set it aswell?

Not sure. Are you using any special color catchers in your detergent? Any special additives in your detergent?

Hie ,so you can do reverse tie n dye without adding hydrochloric acid

with this yes you can. Soda ash will make traditional tie dye brighter.

No this is not like a standard tie dye. It’s a spray so it’s done differently just like I show in the video.

Hi, love the results. Did you start with a damp prewashed sweatshirt before spiraling and spraying bleach?

I did not wash or wet before bleach. You can if you wish to. I wanted a crisp line so I did it dry. If you want more of a soft line you can do it wet so the bleach will bleed a little more

@@CorinneBlackstone Hi it’s me again, sorry. Just one more question, after you spray on the tie dye do you let it sit and then wash and dry and then heat press? Or do you let it air dry and then heat press? Then move forward with applying vinyl. Thanks I’m advance 😊💜

@@mzambitious80 you’ll want to read the directions on your tie dye they are all different. This one you let dry then heat set it in the dryer then you can heat press it or wash it

I wouldn’t recommend that because the color may transfer to the drum

i am confused 100 cotton and bleach? bleach will eat thru it

No it doesn’t if you do it correctly and are not using a thin cotton. I’ve done this on hundreds of shirts as we sell them and I have washed this particular shirt at least 70 times and it is still in perfect condition. The key is to make sure you do not over soak the shirt and do not allow the bleach to sit for a long time. You must wash it right away when you are done bleaching insuring that when you rinse it before washing all the bleach has been rinsed from the fabric.

You can buy precut designs from Etsy or craft stores, not add the additional castle, hand paint something with fabric paints. There are lots of things you can do without a machine. My channel focuses on Cricut and craft cutting machines so my videos are mainly focused on that type of crafting
