The 3Doodler create+ is a pen based 3D printer that doesn't require any computer files or programming knowledge. You can pick it up, stick in the plastic filament and start printing whatever's on your mind right away.
You can find more than 200 free projects and stencils on their website. For more complex projects, they sell kits and 3D projects that like their Gnome Canvas Kit for an ornament you can put in your backyard. They also have 24/7 customer support, so you know they'll be around for the long haul.
The 3Doodler create+ is a fun and creative way to express yourself in art form. For me, it's an interesting way to fix things around the house and create custom pieces of hardware that you just can't buy at the hardware store. Overall a great piece of kit that you'll find many uses for over time.

Also the abs plastic strands have a health issue because of the oil based feature on it the fumes aren’t so healthy that means I recommend you use pla plastic

Is the filament compatible with other brands?

No. This filament is 3mm while other companies produce1.75 mm filament. Only original 3doodler filament works with it.

Mate i bought this tool charged ot up but nothing how many hours should i leave it amd wjy it doesnt charge?

There's no battery, you turn it on and use it while it's plugged in. Most tools with heating elements (soldering guns, hair dryers, this create+ pen, etc) need constant flow of power to work.

If I use the plastic as just a skeleton and add wood filler would that be alright? idk if there would be a reaction with plastic and wood filler.

The biggest issue is keeping the grid or skeleton in place without it falling off. Most grids (in construction at least) are screwed in or taped, then something heavy is put on it like joint compound. If the filler material is lighter than the plastic or you're sure the plastic skeleton is fused tightly to whatever you're penning it on, it might be worth a shot.

Thanks! I think the recommended age for the Create+ is 12 years or older, but they also have one for younger kids starting at 6 years old called "Start".

tip, buy a diffrent brand. the 3doodler uses 3mm filaments compared to the rest of the market and they cost a hell of a lot more and are hard to get

Phew! I sent an email to the company asking whether I had to use their filaments. This was after watching a video warning not to buy a pen that forced you to use proprietary filaments. The answer was yes. Their pens use the 2.85 mm size not the standard 1.75 mm. So no thanks. And thank you for confirming that in fact their filaments cost more!

I couldn't tell you since I don't live in your region. You'll probably have to take into account import tax and duty rates if you can't buy it locally.

@@FirstL00k I was looking for some shoes at the Salvation Army, because all of mine were falling apart. I meandered by the electronics, miscellaneous section, and it caught my eye. I remembered seeing commercials for it years ago and it being multiple payments of 19.99. So I knew I couldn't pass it up. I'm learning the craft to make accessories for my sons toys, small action figures for the obscure/foreign shows my sons loves and "collectable" type things for OSRS (a game I play).
