Is there something in this Kit you like? I like the cardboard boxes for simulating that someone just moved into a house. Also the vinyl box and the chest table.

I think the basement pack would have been more worth it if there is just a working version of each old item. A working version of the landline phone, one tv works but make the other tv work as well, and they can include usable version of heart bed.

A real usable heart bed would have been the sole biggest selling point. I bet just for the heart bed alone people would buy that kit!

Ah yes. Condoms to go with the sex bush. :D There are a couple of items I like. The old TV's, the crate with vinyls, the broken coffee table. I can see myself building a few rags to riches starter shacks with this, though honestly, the werewolf stuff was better. I agree with you. The greenhouse kit is much more useful.

Yeah. It’s definitely not as much eclectic stuff to find in here and also not run down too much. It’s right in the middle of meh.

I really love the visual effects of the little TV! also the details with the flickering lamps and the optional auras (moodlets) of some of the objects. I think the stains and scratches look more natural and convincing than most of the ones from other packs. I don't own this kit, I just watched rveiews and the livestream lilsimsie did with colin from the sims team :D

Fry, you could use MOO and mods to insert a working TV downsized into the broken old TV for a decades challenge, just gotta make sure it's poking out far enough to be usable.

I much prefer the basement kit for storytelling purposes. The greenhouse one I feel is more niche but the clutter is suited only to the garden theme. I wish Sims could repair the heart bed and landline. 😢

Yeah I would wish for a repairing option on many of these objects. I agree with the storytelling aspect of it. However the greenhouse kit is more versatile because of the build items. The basement kit makes this way more niche because you only get buy mode objects.

I'm thinking of using TOOL to place a working TV inside the broken one. Also the lamp flickers.

Good idea! I know those old TVs don't work very well irl anymore, but at least the game could be an escape room that..!

Yeah. Some want to play sims as if they are playing though time. And this is why it’s important to have old timey stuff too.

I feel like they're going to add the heart bed in the game. There would have been such outrage if they only included it in this kit so they're going to add it to base game some time soonish.

Good point. Maybe they do. But they also added some sims 1 stuff in eco lifestyle for example. So I’m a bit confused why they are so reluctant to give us the sims 1 stuff in the first place.

I really like the mirror and might end up getting it because of this but at the moment this is the first builder-focused kit that I haven't been fussed about getting (I've skipped nearly all the CAS ones at the moment). Loving the greenhouse pack though.

I skip the CAS ones aswell. I haven’t built with the kit yet, well.. furnished with the kit yet. But I think maybe the sofa and some of the clutter could be useful. Not a necessity though.

i can’t wait for the conversions of these objects to the sims 2 lol, it’s going to make student dorms so much easier to furnish!

i wish we could just get a kit of built stuff, like spandrels, columns, friezes, roof accessories. the more wild the better

Ich mag das Set im allgemeinen. Der alte fernseher, der spiegel... krams ist immer gut. Das kann man bestimmt voll gut mit den Möbeln der Werwölfe kombinieren :) reden wir mal nicht über diese übersetzung ins deutsche... für mich ist es das Kellerschätze Set😂

Was echt? Das heißt im deutschen Kellerschätze Set? 🤦‍♀️ oh man. Ich weiß ja nicht. Also ich finde auch, dass es vielleicht ganz gut in nem verfallenen Haus oder so ganz passen würde. Ist durch die fehlenden Bauobjekte halt viel mehr Niche.
