Thanks for this. I ordered a set of the LC version from Pagnian a few days ago, after the review of the hydruaic version. Reviews on these, in English, are scarce, so my purchase was a bit of a gamble, but feel more at ease with my purchase now. I also ordered the BJ V8 Supercar style SQ shifter, so a pretty solid upgrade for my rig. Keep up the God work guys.

I got the load cell ones and they are great, heavy and strong feeling gives that extra touch.

Just thought id add my two cents to anyone looking at these pedals, i got a set of the LC pedals last year, they have been used alot but between then and now ive had the green brake spring crack in half, the throttle spring snapped, and last night it managed to shear the bolts that hold the load cell to the pedal clean in half leaving snapped threads in the LC high tensile "8.8" bolts my ass lol. the bolts that hold the front pivot point on the throttle will bind the throttle if too tight and otherwise just back out constantly so had to slather everything in locktite, the plates will ruin your shoes unless you spend a decent amount of time filing them down but i knew that beforehand, They feel great when they work but i do feel like the bits they cheaped out on keep casing issues on mine

Blows me a away the difference in price from one set to another that are very close in design. These at the bottom of the food chain are on my short list. waiting to see how you like them over time, Please shoot us an up date after a few months if good may stretch my budget from the V3's. Finally getting the chance to fit my BJ Steel GT LC. Clutch pedal removed, brake pedal relocated to clutch position, and Leo Bodner control box relocated and mounted on BJ base plate, between throttle and brake. They still look impressive in F1 configuration. Now to remove the CSL Elite pedals and get these mounted on the Sim cockpit. Then to review original video and set up software....then lots of testing and some adjusting.

Love them I think many people would still prefer the load cell version tbh I prefer this pedal way more then most I don't mind progressive pedals and I think that's why I love this lol these pedals imo depth so realistic

Thanks for the video. I might buy these.... seems pretty darn good for the price. I guess it's not too hard to file and sand down the hard edges on the footplates, though it would be nice if they came a bit smoother out of the box. btw isn't it possible to replace the green spring with something a bit softer so that you would get a better and earlier threshhold?

I just installed a set of these on my rig and I totally agree that you want a more distinct feel for when the spring bottoms out so I changed it for a softer one to get that feel. I also suspect that the rubber is stiffer in the current state of the design because I can not for my life compress them as in this review. There are also a few design changes on the pedals that doesn´t show on their website but I feel it´s an improvement on how the rubber stack connects to the loadcell in the same way as the other pedals instead of the bent steel plate.

Just ordered them after I learned that the pedal faces are now smooth and are hight adjustable. For the brake the hardness can now be changed by lowering or hightening the brakerod. Can't wait to have these and replace my fanatec elites.

I got a set, had to add a little bit of lube to some nuts, other than that they are really really good, I did find the edges a bit sharp but nothing to bad.

Hey Boys, grabbed these yesterday and coming from csl lc all I can say is I'm rapt.

I think I just found replacement pedals to the Fanatec CSL Elites on my rig. Thanks. I didn't know if the BJ Steel GT pedals were any good. The price is attractive, but no one said anything about the pedal set. I'm kicking myself for not watching the BJ sim pedal review when they were posted. Note to myself. Get a file, ptfe and some swimming shoes. Laugh out loud.

Hello, first i want to thank you for youre videos and expiriance you share with us. Becaus i killed my CSL Loadcelpedal im now searching for an upgrade. After doing some resarch on the net and some of youre videos, i get 3 padles in comparable price regions: 1. Fanatec V3 + Performance kit 2. BJ Steel F1 ore GT as Loadcell version 3. DC2 ore DC3 Set All this sets are relativ near in price. That for im interested in what you think is the better choice.

Hi Tom, I'm actually thinking of buying the SRP GT Edition pedals and I noticed that after a while you weren't as positive with them as your original review. What did you mean in the end you thought they were too "light". I actually like pretty soft pedals. At the moment I run my sprints at 27KG max force and I really miss the damper I had on my V3 inverted pedals so thought they would be a good for me. Did you just mean soft when you said light? Also is there anyway to tilt the pedals forward more than 90 degrees so it would suit my Formula rig without having to tilt the pedal tray? The manual says 90 degrees is the max but it looks like it could be more from the videos. Thanks again.

The brake pedal definitely needs another nut to butt up against that rod end bearing that attaches to the back of the pedal arm. Without it the long bolt that holds the bushing stack & spring walks in & out of the rod end bearing and causes slack to build up in the assembly. That effectively changes the amount of pressure required to reach 100% pedal pressure and will negatively impact your braking consistency. Not a big deal to fix on your own but it needed to be pointed out. Not sure how that was missed in this review and every other review I’ve ever seen of these pedals?! I’m not sure why BJ hasn’t addressed this either. It would only increase the pedal set cost by a few cents. Also on the set that I have the brake & throttle pedal faces are height adjustable. Other than that I find them to be a great set of pedals. Definitely a step up from the HE Sprints. They are on par with the HE Pro’s. Slightly behind the Ultimates… just lacking hydraulic dampeners for that overall smoothness upon release. I’d recommend. 👍🏾

These look alright I’m running sprints atm that I’ve kinda out grown I am trying to decide on these or the new heusinkveld ultimates plus pedal set not sure which way to go, I originally really wanted VRS pedals but I pre ordered over 6 months ago and never received an email and sick of waiting tbh

Have been looking at the VRS pedals but no stock and availability promises come and go. These BJR 200kg load cells look, to me, to be the closest in performance

So the customer service from BJ is seriously lacking. One of the black bushings has split in half. I reached out to request replacement bushings. For whatever reason they are unable to communicate clearly. They also are trying to sell me some other new style bushing they have now on the website instead of offering to replace the three black bushings that came with the pedals. So frustrating!

Hi guys, purchased a set of these pedals with the load cell, but the support and instructions for setup is nothing short of ridiculous. Having to troll forums and reddit in order to find links for bin files and then trying to calibrate on multiple software platforms, only to still have issues sorting throttle etc is just wrong. Have you any vids which better demonstrate the setup process and software requirements?

Why has NO ONE done a video on setting up pedals using DiView & LC-USB? Only HV Smart Sw. Which doesn’t help! Please please please do a setup of the configuration/calibration with these pedals. I have them and having serious issues with DiView showing jumping and only 1/2 the amount I have in the bar grsgh.

I wish someone would answer my question. I currently have a set of HE Sprints and would like a set of pedals with a larger load cell. Would this pedal set be a lateral move or an upgrade??

I’m not sure if it’s just me but I think having some “slop” is more realistic since in a racing kart at least there like a solid half inch of “slop” before you can feel the pedals actually work.

I wish companies would let us buy SINGLE pedals. i really dont care about having another throttle (or clutch I dont even use). Let me buy brake pedal only. * why does Tom say the Hydraulic pedals are $400? The LC set is $1k & the Hydraulic set is $1.7K.

Tom we need to talk about your footwear

I've had these pedals for the last 6 months and they don't stay smooth. I have to lubricate once a week or once every two weeks otherwise they squeak like crazy and feel like sand. Customer service is also pretty poor as I reached out several times and all they say is just to lubricate
