Here is a quick breakdown of the Casio Casiotone CT-360. Is it worth picking up? Watch and see.

The pipe organ sound was astonishingly realistic.

This is my childhood musical keyboard! I agree, by 2020 standards, it really sounds ancient! It is a very simple and practical instrument to play out of the box! I love the recording feature on it, when you record a song, you can also adjust the tempo to make it sound at the speed you want, I enjoyed playing a song slowly and sped up the tempo all the way just to hear the song playing fast! I still have mine since the late 80s and play it from time to time to relive those old memories! Great Keyboard! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

I thoroughly enjoyed your review. It was high quality, did not deviate from the keyboard much but also was not too dry either. Good job man! Also I found it really helpful of you to mention "center negative"

+Bradley Hove Thanks, amigo! Yeah, it's always a pain to find the right adapter. It's also worth noting that you can always use an adapter that has more milliamps, but never go under otherwise it could over heat. Cheers.

I have one that I rescued from the trash while visiting my maternal grandparents in Ohio. Somebody left it on the curb to be thrown out. I asked the lady if could have it, and she said yes. So, I picked it up and took it home.

You gotta get funky on the Clavi. I have one of these, play it everyday to learn basics and it really is pretty bad lol. But when nobody's around you can get into it. Never noticed the tuning knob

I bought a secondhand one of these in South Africa SUPER cheap, and it is fun, even though guitar is my instrument. The tones have a built in nostalgia. :-D

I have no issues with the line out noise on mine. Previous owner had kept it in excellent condition though.

Hey there, no they are not velocity sensitive unfortunately.

best use of batteries in instruments like this is to keep the recorded music inside the instrument intact after removing the PSU so the data in memory wonldn't be lost unintentionally ...
@generalacc4 жыл бұрын
they could have removed the mono speaker and put a big bas-ass casio calculator in there

I still have this i didn't know there was a plug-in to where you wouldn't have to worry about batteries.

i feel like i already know the answer to this, but is there a sustain pedal input on this?
@derektroutman47934 жыл бұрын
I have one of these, and I dont think it does. All it has is an input for power, output for headphones, and the tuning knob

OMG this was my first keyboard and i played the hell out of it!! I believe my band class back in the day used it as the bass since we didn't have a tuba. That was a hundred years ago!! LOL Oh the memories....

It's not MIDI compatible so you won't be able to use it to play virtual instruments.
@thomasa.17725 жыл бұрын
Hook it up to a interface and try that? I have yet to try a few things. This keyboard has an audio line that will have to go into the interface, and the interface connect to a computer via USB. I have a Behringer UPC HD interface I am borrowing, and it has helped with all of my keyboards. So, if you know how to use an interface you could use it in your DAW. And if you run into trouble, install a voice recording app, record some loops and import them into your DAW. Good luck!!!
