ZIL-49061 is a three-axle all-terrain vehicle with a frame structure, a displacement body, and a passenger cabin, floating, with a 6×6 wheel arrangement. It is one of the components of the 490 search engine complex, which also includes product 4906 and the 29061 auger-rotor all-terrain vehicle. During operation, the search engine complex and the wheeled vehicles from it received the unofficial name “Blue Bird” due to their bright blue color.
