Really loved this! We're flying Fiji AIrways for the first time in May from San Francisco to Nadi so it was great to get an idea of what this airline is like.

I flew on their a330 business class from San Francisco to Nadi and while it wasn’t the best hard product, the island feeling and service on board made it one of my favorite business classes

I got the chance to fly on the A350 to LA. The flight was awesome, Fiji airways is definitely a nice airlines to fly with.

Kia Ora from NZ, Josh. Fiji Airways is a great local airline, made great by the Fijians themselves. Such excellent hosts. Shame we usually only get their old 737s and A332s flying to Auckland. Hopefully they'll order the A330-900s to retire their A332s. Talking of which, please try AirCalin's new A330-900 Nouméa vv Narita. AirCalin are right next door to Fiji in New Caledonia. Another hardworking regional carrier that punches above its weight. Ditto Air Vanuatu- when they get their A220s this year. Nga mihi.

I love Fiji Airways. i flew last year with them from Sydney to Nadi in Business Class. It is not hard to see why Fiji is ranked with the happiest people in the world. It shows in the level of service you get on Fiji Airways. So friendly and happy cabin crew.

I've been so waiting to go to Fiji with them, have been all booked to fly in May, instead covid, borders, laid off job and a NZ winter. Hopefully we can reach for the skies again. I flew with them when they were Air Pacific in 2007, which I think more had that paradise feel with the colourful livery on their then 747's.

I haven't flown too often but since I do have family in Fiji I've been lucky to fly a few times over there, but I remember many years ago back when Fiji Airways was once known as Air Pacific they had Boeing 747s in their fleet. From what I know when the airline changed back to Fiji Airways those 747s got retired, but I'll still never forget my first time on a 747 as a kid (Back in the Mid 2000s) thanks to Air pacific/Fiji Airways. (Pretty sure it was one of the first times I ever experienced a flight on a widebody aircraft.)

I want to go there! I noticed the lady flight attendant had a hibiscus flower behind her ear - I was on a 747 through Papeete (AKL - LAX) and couldn't get off (though everyone else did - I had a broken leg and just stairs in a monsoon so decided best to stay put). The cleaners that came on were all stunningly beautiful young ladies, and all had a hibiscus flower behind their ear - that's cleaners that no else but me saw. I loved that - I must go back to Tahiti 🌺🌺🌺 Great review as always Josh Xx

Love Fiji airways and their service, also the breakfast fried rice is pretty yum hahaha

Unfortunately a lot of what NZ and Aus get is their narrow body fleet which is very different. Once their Max planes come into service it'll be much closer to competing with the likes of Air New Zealand, Qantas, Virgin.

Decent holiday destination product, all your needs met as one would expect, shame about the seat being broken but otherwise a great all round product. On the jetbridge l was thinking "it sounds like Josh is wearing Thongs (flip flops) and yup you are. Thought you would save the Thongs for Bogan Airlines!! 🤣🤣

Nadi is pronounced Nandi. I don't get why either, it just is. Your experience with Fiji Airways was very much the same as mine. A great paradise carrier, as you called them. Their livery since their rebranding in 2013 is probably one of my favourites anywhere in the world. Can't wait to get back to Fiji again!

Love the A330/340 . For the travelling couple in economy nothing beats the 2-4-2 seating . Loved the video , and BTW Nadi is pronounced as Nandi .. Cheers 👍

Hey bro when did u go fiji? Wasn't it lockdown?

Been following Josh for about almost 2 years, have to point something out, Sometimes the free passes Josh gives to some airlines feels biased. For in this case if the seat was broken in a similar way in an Air India flight then that would have been a huge thing he constantly go on about and also with the situation in the toilet, he would have talked about how miserable it was the whole review. But here he acted as if it wasn't a big thing. Got to mention also the unresponsiveness of the TV too. But you covered it up by giving a positive review. I'm not saying all his review are biased but then sometimes it sounds like a agenda you've got with some airlines. I've travelled in multiple airlines and mostly travel on Air India and tbh I've never had any complaints with them let it be the food, the seat, or the service. It's weird how every KZfaqr has a bad flight on AI.

Hey Josh...fyi...Nandi...the n is silent !! Great vision on landing etc. It is a beautiful place and the people are wonderful. My most recent trip there not that long ago also reminded me the locals live on "Fiji time" If you want a beer...order two !! Love the place though!! Great review as always Josh !! Iberia gives you always a blanket and a pillow, they let you a bag on your seat with them. I love them as an airline. Amazing. Nice video!

This is a great video Josh. I’ve always been interested to see somebody review Fiji Airways because there aren’t many videos of it out there. The idea that a crew can make or break a flight is so true in my experience. I noticed though, that the cabin was pretty empty and one would think that if they can’t fill an A330 they shouldn’t operate an A350. Is this because of the Virus or is it always like this ? Also, I’d love to hear your take on the recent Etihad aircraft sell off and what’s that all about ? Happy travels and stay healthy.

I"m a big fan of the A330, but more than four hours in economy would be brutal for me- even with an empty seat beside me. Good video overall.
