I really hope Eduardo does a ''Dark Era 2'' or something, with more viking age instruments, but also bronze age, iron age, there are lots of instruments left to explore

As an owner of FK2, I highly recommend this to anyone. It's a beautiful library. --- But... $99 for an "upgrade"? - I see very little in the way of new content tbh. A new GUI and maybe a couple of native American flutes - this should be just an update, not an upgrade.... Or am I missing something exciting, SLR?

Hey Kade, lots of new sondscapes as well and one might argue that those flues are worth the cost of the entire library with how smooth the playability is. All depends on each users needs. thanks for sharing your thoughts

If someone has an older Forest Kingdom series like 1 and 2, do you still need to have 1 and 2 installed or does v3 manage all of them? Or is 3 entirely different? Some libraries incorporate their older versions into the newest one so you don't have to have to keep one or more older version sitting on HD consuming space.

I'm thinking of buying it but I'm missing some information. Does Forest Kingdom (I, II or III) have bass flutes (and how much?) I can't find the exact information. Thanks for your help.

Hello there! I want to ask for help on how to use the Forest Kingdom 3 preformance grooves in Ableton live 11. In the manual for Forest Kingdom 3 it has descriptions on how to use the preformance grooves in Cubase, Logic Pro and Studio One, but not for Ableton. I have managed to open the project, and imported the midi files for the project/preformance grooves, but everything sounds out of tempo compared when I audition the loops. Like feks I opened the Peacefull NIight project, and the main pad sounds fine, but the UDU sounds like a piano or something even thoug I have put a copy of Forest Kingdom 3 on the Udu midi channel and choosen Udu in the menue to the left. I chose "Import tempo and time signature data in to arrangement" when I uploaded the midi files. Can you pleace help me to get it to sound right? And can you also tell me how I can get the Engine window (info page) bigger? I can not find out how, and it is so small as default. Have a great day! Much love from Mallika J Y herland

If you haven't sorted this yet, Create One instance of Forest Kingdom on a midi channel. Then create up to 10 empty midi tracks. Grab a midi performance groove from Forest kingdom folder. It is one file but when you drag it into ableton it will split into the multiple parts of the midi performance groove. Have one of each of the files on the empty midi tracks and no file on the midi track that has forest kingdom VST on it. Then in the routings for each midi track choose in Ch.1 for the first In ch.2 for the second etc. On the midi out for each of the midi tracks first choose "Engine" or whatever your forest kingdom VST track is labeled. After you choose that then underneath choose the specific channel. So the midi routings for each of the say 4-10 midi tracks will look like this : All ins - Ch.1 - Engine (Forest kingdom) - 1-Engine. Next track : All ins - Ch. 2 - Engine - 2-Engine.... and so on. Record enable each track. This is how I'm doing it so far, I didn't use the performance grooves for years because I couldn't figure it out, but this is working and can probably be tweaked even better as my audio is still going through one output.
