Most Cubans I have smoked have tasted like wet cardboard. You get one or two that are great and then you are spending loads of money chasing that satisfaction and not getting any. The reason for this is a lot of these Cubans need to be aged to be enjoyed. And if your a normal bloke who just wants to buy and smoke then Cubans are not the ones to choose. I've had hamlet cigars that smoked better than a lot of Cohiba's and Monty's. Next time I'm in the local smoke shop I'm going for the dutch cigars as they are imo more consistent than the Cubans.
