I purchased the MitoPro 300 based on your review and I’m enjoying it. The additional cost for the MitoAdapt features isn’t worth it for me. I am a new to Red LIght therapy so the MitoPro 300 was a perfect purchase for me. I greatly appreciate Alex’s reviews.

Thank you for reviewing this one. I definitely agree about that app. It needs some major work. For the modes and what they help with, I think they are waiting to get customer updates on that app to see which modes work for what. This is like the guinea pig model. But again I agree, they should have done this prior in their own research. Can you do a video on the downsides and dangers to red light therapy? I red some information mentioning that too much red light is bad and have make things worse. If any health conditions shouldn’t use it. Like people with tumors I think. Etc. Oh, and why it makes people sick and the sun doesn’t, even though the sun is stronger. Please and thank you 🙏🏾 😅

Hey. Yeah I asked Scott (MitoRed CEO) about this in our podcast interview (due out later this week). You are right - they just made up some modes and hope to get data to then determine what mode is good for certain issues. I don't see how this will work. But anyway, maybe I'll be wrong. Downside - yeah good idea. It's not something I have much knowledge on, so I'll have to do a bit of research on this but i'll add it to my list :)

Thank you! It's a no for me on the Mito Adapt. I have been waiting a long time to purchase, and it sounds like Mito and Platinum LED are the ones to choose. I didn't like the customer service reviews of Platinum LED though, so I have been leaning toward Mito. I need to look again and see if anything has changed in that arena in the last year or so. Thanks so much for your work!

@@LightTherapyInsiders that Platinum restocking fee is a deal breaker for me. They'd have to be something pretty special to suck that one up.

Mito pro 300 is wonderful to own. I'm super new to this RLT space, and having all those settings would be lost on me. A remote, would have been nice. If this turns out to be great, I will probably invest in a larger panel. But honestly, it is good as is. I spent that extra few hundred on another skin care device 😂

As usual, an execellent review. However, you have missed something that might be in favor of MItoAdapt series: suppose I mainly want NIR. If I use Biomax300, then I am really using just half of the LEDs. So I only got half of the power you found here. Whereas, because of the dual chips, I am using all the LEDs in MitoAdapt Min. So the power calculation would be very different under that use case. Not only that, assuming the table top models of the two brands have similar hot spots performance as their full body panel, then I can place the MitoAdapt Min closer to my skin for the same 'evenness' of doseage. This closer distance might be enough to overcome the weaker power output too.

Thank you! Yeah I will have to do some testing here. I don't think it will work out exactly as you have stated. But I need to check the numbers myself

It does have a lot of bells and whistles packed into it - whether they're useful (and worth the extra price) I'm not to sure. I'll have to wait until I can play with one. Stay tuned :)

Adapt and the pro don’t have all the same wavelengths. The 830nm in the pro was replaced with the 810nm in the adapt. I wish they would have just added 810nm rather than replace. I might have to go with the infraredi.

Hey. No MitoRedLight is based in the USA and has become a large and well respected Red Light Therapy company. I have reviewed a lot of their products. Mito Light is a smaller company based in the Czech Republic. I haven't used any of their panels and I don't know much about the company. Their products look decent though

@@LightTherapyInsiders Okay, thank you very much for the answer 🙏 That's what I suspected, that it's other companies. In fact, this is the only company outside of the USA that I found offering these types of products, and thanks to that I would avoid the whole tax issue. However, despite everything, I will stick to some product straight from the USA, which you recommend. Good job, by the way. 👍

Hi I have a question. I just got a Biomax 300, and I wanted to also get a mito Pro 750. I wanted to know if you can place them together (like a full body panel) maybe I’m not gonna be able to connect them together(not sure, maybe yes) but since you have both, I was wondering if you know if they can combine with each other (like one on top of the other as a multi panel array) thanks for the videos btw, they are great! 👍🏼

Hi Alex, can you please recommend the best panel for pain? Also it must be hung or on stand I am.not able to stand, that's because my body is so damaged and I am disabled.
@LightTherapyInsiders
@LightTherapyInsiders Жыл бұрын
Hey. Ohh I haven't looked at pain specifically. But a quick search in this database - aferg.co/science - shows over 1000 RLT studies that look at pain. The wavelengths are all over the place - so pretty much anything that is going to emit both red and NIR should help. If there is a particular type of pain/issue you suffer from then you can do a search in that database and see what you find. A BioMax, or MitoRed Light panel should work great though. Sorry to hear about your condition, both of the above panels have stand and hanging options as well :)
