Point of the utility vest is to hold up the regular belt pouches. Buy both, ditch the belt-only, the shoulder supports will keep all the pouches solid. Based on LC1 ALICE system, the LBV keeps the pistol belt above the hips and holds the weight of whatever's clipped to it.

For a good quality pistol holster for any nerf gun (that is a medium size) I recommend the UTG Command Deluxe pistol holster! Used it for multiple nerf guns! Great quality.

You could use a neoprene velcro mask extender, and instead use it for the vest. Like 2 of 'em. But I know of better vests. I got a paint pod vest for around $30, and it works better than the Nerf vests. Can hold 18 rounders snug too.

When I was young I never used any of the vests and whatnot. Mainly because I started using a set of Boba Fett armor I got as a gift along with his helmet (yes, helmet. Not one of those cheap masks but a legitimate helmet. I kind of wish I hadn’t used it since it would be a cool collectible if it wasn’t so worn down now). Because of that I never had space for these sorts of things. While the armor wasn’t as resourceful it certainly looked more badass.

practi-cool is only using what you need tacti-cool is always having another plan. you may think tacti-cool is better because of this but it isn't necessarily better because it uses up more resources.
