video helped, i was finding the boot really uncomfortable bending forward. Penny clicked when you said about running out of strap, which said to me that that strap isnt supposed to be cranked down and i had more on the toe and leg strap, felt a whole lot better after cranking those down and taking the stress off the ankle strap, no more digging in feeling when leant forward!

Update, the Tech 7 and Tech 7 Enduro both have replaceable sole sections and I think you can also have Alpinestars or a cobbler replace the entire sole. There is no other difference between these 2 boots other than simply tread pattern. I was going with the Enduro thinking I wanted some extra traction then changed my mind fearing I might snag my foot more often on the MX track which is where I am doing all of my riding at the moment. When I hit the trails I don't think the MX sole will be an issue for me. SECOND UPDATE: The straps are working great, I did first ride yesterday and they were very comfortable and really saved me some pain on hard landings. Definitely building confidence as I get use to this harder boot on the controls. Learning not to step on the brake on landings...

It’s a good thing talked about twisting the ankle, i had this with sidi. I ordered the tech7 and hope they will fit me better. Man my ankle still hurts it just twisted really fast but then i started thinking maybe i need thicker socks to make it feel more secure and all. But still the sidi’s are already hard and don’t have much feel so with thicker socks it’s even worse. I hope the tech 7’s will solve the problem. I had good experiences with Alpinestars before ( race boots ) smx plus. They have great feel hope the tech 7’s do too!

i had the same issue with the boots. Love the tech 7 but size 10 was to small and 11 to big 😅

I want the boot to have a nice feeling with the clutch and brake and it needs to be flexible boot not stiff..which one?

I got the same tech7 enduro boots and I can not close the velcro ontop due to big calves. So if you have big calves check out sidi crossfire or Gaerne sg12

I didn’t think I have “big calf’s” but after watching this I’m starting to think I do I can barely get my series three Velcro to line up properly I have to really torque on them with my hands from a standing position I don’t know what to get the next round I would like more protection the series 3 is my first boot ever as I just started riding dirt this past November I might go Leatt 5.5 or garne want to find a place that I can try them all on

For a woman.. the tech 7 did not fit my calf , so much Velcro showing. But that was in a size 7, maybe the calf sizes are less when the boot size goes down?

You know you can cut those straps to make them shorter?

I have huge legs the first time I tried on the Tech 7 I said it would not fit around my calf with the strap maxed out it just makes it around. I am leaning to the Tech 7 over the Sidi after some recent reviews but I do like the replaceable parts on the Sidi
