I’ve been using these exact clippers for 2 months now, it’s my go to clipper. I have two now, on one I have a staggered tooth ceramic blade for my bald fades and the other one for everything else. I’ve been a barber 17 years now and these are my favorite clippers ever. I like the wedge blade it reminds me of the wahl precision blade that comes on the cheap home wahl clippers which are my favorite blades

Couldn’t agree more about the clipper. I normally rock 2 JRLs on the station, one with a taper and one with a fade blade. But ever since I got this clipper in, it’s seen every day use. I did not expect to like this clipper as much as I do. But dang, it really offers a smooth fade. I think more and more people are gonna jump on this one, personally, I absolutely prefer it over the babyliss FX.

It’s my favorite clipper! I just wish it came with a charging dock & I don’t think babyliss will make one for it anyway

It’s not possible to make a better trimmer than the style craft saber. You just can’t get any better.

@@thewoodshedbarberthe cyborg trimmer is the better ergonomic saber same motor same blade same performance with usbc and battery level lights. I think it’s gamma/sc best trimmer

@TheWoodshedbarber if you had to pick a clipper to cut waves, which one would you pick? Lithium FX, JRL Onyxx, Fast Feeds, Andis Masters, or any other clipper I didn’t name? Thanks Also o just subscribed 👍🏾

Thanks for the sub! For laying down hair for me it’s more about the blade and guard than the tool itself. The master blade and fast feed blade are undefeated in my opinion. Paired with the Andis double Mag guard it’s perfection! 👌🏼 I’ve used those blade on seniors, instincts, mythics, on and on. Everyclipper you named is a banger though. The lithium fx is a low key sleeper that needs more love than it gets!

Appreciate the review on this. I’ve been looking at the clipper but not sure if I should run it or the TPOB Play. I’m not a barber, just a dude that cuts his own hair and wants a quality setup that will last. You have any thoughts on this being you have reviewed both? Much appreciated👊🏼

Honestly I’d probably go Lithiumfx for its blade adjustment for self cuts. I feel the play is more ergonomic but the babyliss blade is probably better for self cut

@@thewoodshedbarber thank you sir, that’s good to know. I’ve never tried the wedge blade but know it’s hit or miss with folks and that threw me a tad. However when you said that in conjunction with the FX it’s a win, that put it back on the table for me. I have a couple TPOB trimmers and they have been working well for me so figured I’d try the clippers. Was grabbing the X or XO but PLAY seemed more ergonomic and I haven’t heard many complaints on it. I just figured I’d ask you being you’ve ran them both and aren’t a shill like a lot of others. Thanks again for your time and input 👊🏼

@@thewoodshedbarber well, looks like the PLAY is what I’m doing lol. It was in Amazon cart while you and I were chatting and my wife needed to order something but didn’t take it out. I agree with you that it’s a solid choice regardless, so hopefully I like the ergos of it and the new blade. Oh and you’re more than welcome, it’s refreshing to know that solid opinions and advice are being given. Thanks again, it’s definitely appreciated.
