This video is the review of the Bushnell T-series spotting scope. Short review of what I consider the best compact spotting scope for the money. FFP mil hash reticle with ED glass. 15-45 x 60 power spotter.

Thanks for this review, it convinced me to buy one and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Took it only up to 500m range so far, but it performs.

I like Bushnell Elite scopes. I have two of them, one for competition with an H59 reticle and one for hunting with a G3 illuminated reticle. I also have a '90s Leupold folded light path spotter and the glass is likely not as good as this new Bushnell Legend spotter.

I have an old Leupold 12 - 40 scope. I wish it had more power but it is an excellent scope for hunting. I DO like the the Bushnell T series scope. I have Bushnell Elite ERS and LRTS scope for competition and hunting respectively. They are EXCELLENT scopes for the money and I have no doubt this spotter would be just as good.

Eric B. Thanks Eric! I agree that they are hard to beat for their price point. Bushnell really stepped up their game in recent years.

On your scope, does the diopter adjustment ring return to zero after turn it to adjust the reticle focus?

A spotting scope makes life much easier and saves a lot of time. It is almost essential for any long range shooting.

For now I am looking to use this out to 500 yards. Does it work with for seeing the mirage and bullet trail? I know you have a longer range out to 1000, when is where I want to eventually get to. Does this scope work well out to 1000? Beyond? Thanks for all the hard work on the videos, I know what it takes. I have gone through a lot of your content, and come back to it more than once. It is a huge help!!

My pleasure Dave. I still have this unit and use it regularly at the 1k yard range. You will be able to see mirage and bullet trace for sure. The only time I noticed a discernible difference between it and my Leupold Mk4 spotter, was at the 1mile target. If I had to give it one complaint, it would be the controls are so close you will inadvertently grab the wrong one occasionally. Meaning, trying to focus and grabbing the power ring instead. Thanks for watching and have a great week.

@@XRING Thanks much for the update. I am building a 6.5 Creedmoor (keeping track of you, pops, and kotaboy project). My goal is 500 for now. Then out to 1000, then out to a mile.

Dave Wilburn Thanks for watching all the different channels Dave! As long as you have a decent rifle, scope and Strelok or the Kestrel you should not have any issues achieving your goal.

What would you say is the limitation on this spotting scope in terms of seeing holes (6.5cr) on paper? 200, 300, 600 yards?
@XRING
@XRING 4 жыл бұрын
I have no issues seeing 6.5 Creedmoor holes on paper at 500. Haven’t tried it at 600. It is a great spotting scope for the money.

Do you still have this spotter? I was wondering if you could maybe do a video of this showing targets out to distance I’m a avid shooter and hunter and can’t seem to find anyone doing a video of showing this spotter showing targets/ animals at distance it would be greatly appreciated especially for looking at animals at a mile or over with spotting and stocking. Thank you for you’re time and excellent videos!

How does it do for seeing mirage next to mark 4 on days when mirage may be difficult to see. Are you paid to endorse?
@XRING
@XRING 4 жыл бұрын
Hello Nathan. I am NOT paid to endorse. The Bushnell I have is great for mirage even side by side with my Mark 4. However, I got this when they first came out and the quality on them now has diminished greatly. I had about 10 viewers purchase them within the last few months and about 1/2 of them had to go back for off center reticles and what was described as spots on the glass. Bushnell did replace them but I don’t know if I can recommend this spotting scope any longer. The ones who got good ones are very happy with them. Thanks for commenting.

Will not ever purchase Bushnell again! Sent scope back for repair and have not received it 2 years later! Went through A complete loss due to a fire of other optics from Vortex and have had them replaced completely within 2 weeks. Bushnell SUCKS!!!!!!!
