Definitely some rough artwork and spatial issues. It is easy to just flip to a ready map, but those hard to see lines have absolutely led to confusion in combat in our games.

I was super enthralled by these when they first came out so I really appreciate this review: the stuff that bothered you would absolutely bother me as well, particularly the sloppy art (that cutoff canon shocked me)

One of the biggest issues I have with it is that on many maps the grid seems haphazardly thrown on top of the image, with little regard for how things line up. Is that a space where movement is clear, or do I have to climb over that barrel that extends 1/4 of the way into the square? Which square do I need to be in to go through that doorway that is half in one square and half in the other?
