Got the same mower 3 season 155 hrs every thing is still original been a great mower. The blade speed on these mowers is powerful compared to a tractor the Kohler engine been great. I also added the armrest and mud flaps

Mud flaps are good! I am starting a project to make a mini excavator/loader for the front of mine. I will start posting the build videos on my page in the next couple weeks. I already have all the parts here and ready to build.

The blades that come with the mower are just regular blades don't do very good with wet grass. ,I changed mine to gator blades , never had any clogging after that .

You want to make sure you don't drive it at low engine RPMs, the transmissions need full oil pressure to last.

Do some research on your " Fab" deck. Fabricated decks are made from flat pieces of steel. These decks are stamped on top, and rolled/welded around the bottom to look like they are fabricated. Many people found this out the hard way by having bad vibrations from the deck. Made by MTD just like Craftsman are.

This deck does not clog when the grass is wet like my old Craftsman mower did. I do not have any vibration. Vibrating deck it is usually caused by bent or unbalanced blades.

--- **S U B B E D** --- I only have 2 hours on mine, and its the same machine you have there. I've heard nightmare stories about unscrewing the oil change cap/bolt (whatever its called). In a couple weeks, I'll see how the oil change goes. - Great post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I suck out the oil with a suction pump. The bad one is the oil filter. m y second oil change and failed to stop the oil from flooding over the motor mount plate.... They should have made a good drain hole under it.

As soon as I finish a bunch of other crap I gotta do, I am building a mini-excavator with changeable buckets switchable to a mini-loader. The buckets will pull or push. Lord willing!
