With respect to the main secondary characters like Franky, Handler, and Nightfall; their development in the movie was sacrificed for the fluidity of the film. This is where viewers of Season 1 have the advantage of content to fill in the gaps. "Code: White" holds up well as a stand alone movie. Having Season 1 under the belt adds several layers of depth to an excellent and strangely wholesome movie.
