Ngl I think Tanimura learned from a lot of his mistakes, DS2 can be pretty bad at points but I always felt things like environmental design were super strong in it at some points. And I think that carries over to Elden Ring.

The lore on the fowl feet is that people who had to scrape their survival off the rocks ate them because there was nothing else. Inversely, they make it easier for you to find "something else" when treated with the proper magical essence.

Great list of bosses my guy. My personal favorite fight in the tame is Morgott but Mohg and Godfrey are a close 2nd and 3rd for me. Keep up the work my guy!!!

Great list, almost identical to my own at the top. I really love how overboard they went with some of the attacks in this game, even just visually. Hoarah Loux’s powerbombs, Radagon’s spell parry & “riposte”, most of Elden Beast’s attacks, Radahn’s meteor dive, Rykard’s skull storm, and Placidusax’s music-silencing lightning stake explosion were awesome (and those are just the ones I can think off of the top of my head)

I really like your videos, keep it up! To the Marika x Radagon thing: I always thought they were fused together as a punishment after removing the death rune from the Elden Ring :y 8:58 or they were perhaps fused as punishment after that action with shattering the elden rune. This "punishment" thing I somewhere picked up. But I dont remember if it was a KZfaq video or some NPC in game I heard it from, so it probably should be discarded a theory at this point.

I like it more now than I did 2 years ago. Probably due to the fact that I just replayed it finishing up all the achievements I missed, finished almost every quest and explored the area's I previously missed. Now I can screw around with pvp for a few months before the DLC.

You can't effectively dodge Malenia's Waterfowl Dance without using AoW's and at any distance, it just requires practice, and it's not THAAAT hard either, so like-, she can be a pretty good 1v1 without exploits yk? Also, as someone who didn't really like Fortissax, I must say that you still did him DIRTY, like he is literally a remembrance boss, give him a separate entry at least, you talked in specific and showed footage only of Lansseax in the one he was supposed to be 💔💔💔

OMG. A ranking that didn’t rank Malenia in the Top spots. Don’t get me wrong. I can and have multiple times got her no damage, Let me Solo her Style. However when looking at souls ranking, too many seem to rank quality as in difficulty, in a sad attempt to say “look, I’m Mr Git Gud”. Like seriously. DS3’s Gael and Sekiro’s Isshin are PEAK 10/10 bosses. But a boss like Orphan of Kos is *B A D* . The way he can do those close range 10 hit combos… while you are nowhere near him and expecting to dodge his Placen-shrimp bombs. And then in phase 2 many of his moves are spacing. He will fly everywhere, killing the “dance” that makes this games beautiful and hoping the RNG gods make him spam that multiple slam attacks to bait a parry/backstab. But hey, the community says he is hard. And the phony-litist community says he is hard, so guess I’ll have to rank him higher than the perfection that is Gherman/Ludwig. As for Malenia. While I can go on about the issues as an insulting version to the perfection that was Isshin. The factual mistake is that Elden Ring was super dumb by not letting us see the posture bar. Malenia’s moves constantly give her hyper armor. And if you break her posture during hyper armor… it doesn’t break her stance AND INSTEAD SHE REGENERATES HER POSTURE EFFECTIVELY RESETING HER POSTURE IF YOU DONT GET A HIT IN. Eventually making the fight super inconsistent if you have the skill to find openings to do charge heavy attacks. Oh and one last hot take. NG+7 Mogh>>>>>>>>Malenia. The 1 shot of NG+7 is far scarier than Malenia.

That's so comparable to Ubisoft "platform puzzle" towers you have to do to fill out the map bit by bit so you can tell where you're going in their bland, basic ass open worlds that are not visually distinct whatsoever with no notable landmarks to help orient the players without needing said map

If it's a personal taste thing then fine, but trying to state that an objectively good game sucks based on your personal tastes is just wrong. Also, you are putting someone else down. He shared how he really likes the game and you came out with "No. Sekiro is better. This game sucks". You just dismissed his enjoyment and experience and attempted to state that what you like is better and what he likes sucks with no merit.

@@calebfouts7118 Let me address the putting down part first. You can like a game, You can proclaim it as the best game/ most fun game you played. But calling it 'the game of the decade' no that claim can not go unanswered. Sekiro is the best From game and even that can't be considered game of the decade. Now for why ER sucks. The sort answer is aggravating. Things in this game was built without the consideration of how it would be fun(which is very important for a game). All the input reading, reactivity, moving away, long ass attacks, overlapping attacks , deception attacks don't makes the game really aggravating and cheapens the challenge(the games over reliance on artificial difficulty aside). Sekiro was had lazer focused. Every aspect of that game was made with consideration on how it's bullshit would be fun.

Owen you are like one of the few people I have seen to rank fire giant so low and holy hell GOOD RIDDANCE. That boss stinks, its so mind numbingly easy and boring, idk why so many people place it so high for being one of their favourites or most enjoyable.
