Many thanks for the review Alek, my shop is the one at 8:00 where you said "not to be rude to this person but this is what you should do if you do not want to have any sales", critique was well received as I do want to make sales and I will have to redesign my shop.

Hi Alek! I have seen all your videos since I discovered your channel one month ago, I have just started my etsy shop since april and have 54 listings but no sales yet. I was feeling discouraged but after seeing this video, which I found incredibly super helpful, packed with practical advice, I feel better and will continue working towards increasing my listings and finding my niche/audience.

Thank you for the video! It is very informative. I struggle with what designs/niche to focus on and what makes sense in those areas. I had thought that creating a wide variety would appeal to more buyers but now I need to do more research and figure out what makes sense. Again, thank you Alek for all of these great videos!

I like that no one mentions that you can't sell products with celebs face, trademarks and quots/ lyrics on etsy. It's illegal. And people get banned from etsy for life for doing it....

Alan Watts was the sophisticated person's Charles Bukowski. Both were drunks. Both said profound sounding things that could be easily quoted. This is a really good example of niche drill down to an under served need. Plus, what are the chances that the Watts prints are purchased by women for men? Concentration on one type of item and knowledge of ICP (not necessarily the T-shirt type). Nice Midjourney prompts.

Very helpful content as usual. For me, it was particularly helpful that you reinforced the principles you teach with the specific examples of the ETSY stores. I think that I am still not clear on how to tailor a shop to the ETSY buyer, other than ETSY style mockups. Do you recommend using a service like Erank, Etsy Hunt, or Everbee?

Great video and I hope you do more of these! But the two apparel shops that are successful that you posted are not print and demand shops. The NourClothing ships the same day and has really low prices at $16 for a large shirt so they are making it themselves. Teloroma also shows that they sublimate their tshirts in the videos of their listings. They also have a lot of intellectual property designs and I wouldn't compare a normal shop to these two shops because of the use of IP and they are not print on demand. With print on demand we have to price higher so it's harder to do as well your first year like that, not that it's not possible but these are not the two shops to ideally compare.

Sadly the shop at 9 minutes with 10,000 sales which is only 10 months old, has almost 100 Disney designs.
@mariuxxxx13 ай бұрын
don't they get banned for that?
@David_CarlileАй бұрын
Teloroma doesn't exist anymore. If they had those Disney listing, I'm assuming they got banned for Trademark infringement.

You always suggest doubling down on one product. But is it good to sell adult and kids T-shirts, and a hoodie or jumper using the same designs so there are slight alternatives offered to the customer?

I love the idea of reviewing the shops, but doesn’t this pose the risk of crushing these shops with a flood of views with no conversion? The same thing that happened in your challenge? I love your content, just a concern that came into my mind
@susansutton20123 ай бұрын
I see many digital art shops selling copies of public domain artists. I wonder how they can do this as these are not original products which Etsy in now saying it only wants and is closing down shops.
@alexandratracey82523 ай бұрын
I think VM Designs is also using too much real estate on their thumbnails with their logo. It's distracting and makes the image too small. I would keep scrolling.
@fillipa31893 ай бұрын
You say to run sales, how do you go around this as it's against the law to always run a sale because it's dishonest about the true price of the product?

Too bad Etsy is pretty much done for POD with their latest draconian changes. Really wish I could get that money back from your course - totally worthless now
