We hiked to Burke’s Knob last year just to see what was around it. Burke’s Knob is a large butte that sits high on a ridge above Big South Fork’s historic No Business Creek Valley. We hardly made it 1/4 of the way around it last year but located some amazing undocumented formations. This return trip was very warranted. We located more awesome features, including a way to the top of the knob, but still came up short of fully circling the entire thing. I guess that means trip number 3 will be coming up someday! That’s a day I’ll be looking forward too!
