Although it may not have a story line, it has a theme. An album doesn’t necessarily need to have a storyline for it to flow, this is a perfect example of that. Her albums are always a good trip. The whole album is road trip music, it makes you feel good and happy and is generally wholesome. This album is severely underrated and it definitely houses some of her best songs.

Talk That Talk is the first music album I ever got. My friend brought it for me on my 11th B'day back in December of 2011. 2011 was also the year I started listening to music for the first time in my life, more explicitly September/October 2011 when Rihanna released "We Found Love" and I remember myself listening to all the songs from TTT via KZfaq. Beautiful memories. Obviously, when I was 11 I didn't know English that well so I was unaware of how sexually-themed is this album xd But I like the fact that this album is so unapologetic, naughty, partly shallow, partly deep, party-oriented. I feel that if I' try to be objective then I would say that Rihanna's best album is Loud, but this time I'm being subjective and I go with Talk That Talk. I mean, c'mon, my first ever album I got + late 2011 was the time I started listening to pop music for the first time and I have so many great memories associated with that. And December 2011- You Da One was announced as the 2nd single. I was so thrilled, I remember I was dying for the video to finally come out. It's different than Rihanna's other songs- it's really dubstep, and OMG- the single cover for You Da One is my favorite from all Rihanna's singles ever. TTT was THAT era! And Birthday Cake, Talk That Talk, Watch 'N' Learn, We All Want Love were THESE hits! Deluxe edition with Red Lipstick & Do Ya Thang was FIREEE!
