Thank you so much for this great and informative video. I can only subscribe to everything you said. About a month ago, I replaced my 27 years old Spica TC 60 (excellent speakers btw, especially for their price) with a pair of Atalante 3 and I am still thrilled! When I heard them at a local shop in Brussels (where I live) I just could not believe their size. Soundstage and instrument separation is just staggering (listening to Kind of Blue was a revelation). On top of that they are easy to place and they look great too! I pair them with a Rega Elicit amp and use the dedicated stands. Cheers! Ignacio

Hi Mark, superb review (as usual). I will definitely consider the Atalante 3's when I'm ready to replace my Wharfedale EVO 4.4's. Your comments round floorstanders and water spilling onto the floor had me intrigued. All the best!

Great video---I'm seriously considering replacing my Dynaudio Special 40s with these. Question: what speaker cables would you recommend?

It really caught my attention the fact that you have these at home. Which amp are you driving them with? Thank and cheers the channel I really apreciate the content and your approach. Best

Good morning Paulo and thank you for the comments. I have used a number of different amplifiers, from solid state (A/B), Class D (Ganfet) and Valves (40w push pull) and all have sounded great with the Atalante 5's (and 4's too). Thank you also for the feedback on our channel, it is really appreciated. Cheers. Mark :)

Thank you for this video! I'm about to buy an Audia Flight FL Three S and am not yet sure about the speakers - currently I'm thinking about either the Atalante 3, the Trenner & Friedl Sun (I also watched your video on those), or the Dynaudio Special 40. Any recommendations or inputs? I prefer musicality, composure and smoothness over sound that is too analytical and dry, My room is about 12ft x 14ft. To the Audia Flight I'll connect a Marantz Cinema 70S as pre amp, to which I'll connect my Nvidia Shield - so it will be both for music and movies, but focus on music, and I'd rather have high quality bass to around 70hz than bad-sounding bass down to 40 hz. Thank you and have a nice day!

Hi Lukas---I have the Dynaudio Special 40s and I'm currently auditioning a pair of the Atalante 3s at home at the moment. Let me tell you, they are awesome sounding speakers. I'm very close to offering a trade-in the Dyns for these. I haven't been this excited about a pair of speakers in a while. Def give them a listen. They are beautiful too!

What amp did you use with the Atalante 3s? How much or how little power do. you need to make these sing? Do they work with valves as well as solid state? Would. you prefer one option over another? Thank you for your great review.

Everywhere new speakers and speakers and speakers,🤔 They are all getting better and better but I can't hear it for the last 20 years it is no better only different 😢

HI Stephan, I honestly believe that they are getting better. New technology and 3d printing have raised the bar and the skill of the designer too! Although, to balance that, some brands seems to be going backwards 🤔 Thanks for the message, Cheers, Mark :)

Some people prefer good sound to good looks. I say: why not both?

It’s not “anti reflection” but “anti resonance”
