Hello, I have lenovo ideapad 510, when I was playing a game and connected my phone to charge and ac adapter was on and charge of laptop was around 90% and it automatically shut down and I pressed the power on button but there was no sign of led or anything so I pressed power on button for like 1 button of extract the battery so I did and after that I plug in my ac adapter there was nothing what do you think I should do? Buy new adapter or is it different problem? Help much appriciated! Thanks alot beforehand!!

Hi I own the Acer Aspire E1-571G which its power jack was loose and sometimes not charging the battery , once I open the laptop and tried to fix the power jack loose connection wire , however suddenly my Iron solder shortcutted to the power jack body and sparked and my laptop never turn on anymore , I guess polar diode connected to power input socket may harmed I really appreciated to have any advice or repair procedure for this issue

i have a dell studio xps 1647. I did a bios update just to be updated. during the update the computer froze. so powered it down and it wont turn on anymore. no lights, no fan. not a backlit black screen. I have booted it before in this condition to a black screen with text. I dont remember what screen it was. but it was done by the 30 sec power button like above, no battery in and plugging it in to power supply. the catch was there was certain keys or a hey to press before and while pressing the power button to turn on. I cant remember so I can reflash the bios with a good file

Hi, I'm having some problems with my laptop. Yesterday I was doing some data backup and went to another room for a while. When I came back the laptop was off. I thought that maybe I plugged charger wrong and the battery is dead, but surprise. It wasn't a battery... firstly nothing worked. clicking a power button did nothing with charger + battery, only battery or only charger. Then after doing some research I tried to release static charge. So I've pressed power button for few minutes with battery off and I hoped it worked. So I put my battery and charger back, pressed power button and... the power button light turn on for a second and went off. the led on front was also blue. So I've pressed again and again with same result. And after forth press all the lights went down and don't want to come back unless I do the trick with "releasing the static charge". What may cause this add behaviour? Thanks for any help, I appreciate it .

For last 2 years, my Dell inspiron 5537 was behaving unusual way. When I turn on my laptop, after screen turns on in 2-3 seconds, laptop shuts abruptly. Then I again turn it on it starts nicely. Now last week it didn't even start. I did everything like removing battery, static charge release, Cleaning the motherboard dust gently. Then I noticed when charger is turned on, it makes little noise on motherboard where the charges wire connects to motherboard. Sometimes a small component turns out to be too hot. What could be the problem. Thank you.

kuchh samajh me nahi aaya. you mean gate output should be higher than 19 v? Mere do do laptop dead pade hain har saal repairing centre bhejna padta hai ...dono laptop bich me sahi se on hua tha ...fir wapas dead. what might be causing the problem? Power cord is original ,batteries not working. damn frustrated.

Hi Aditya, after checking better the board reference is s947. My laptop powers on but the battery doesn't charge. I did some multimeter testing on the battery pins with battery off the pins have 3V, when I put it back in the battery the voltage drops to 0.8V. I did some continuity testing and I have two RQ3E080BN mosfet conected in series. With battery off for the first mosfet drain voltage is 19V and source is 3V, the second mosfet has 0 source voltage and 3V for the drain. Mosfet 1 source and mosfet 2 drain are connected at 3V. The problem is that when putting the battery back in this 3V goes down to 0.8V that doesn't charge the battery. Do you think I should change the both mostfets? Thank you for your help!! Julian

Hi. I have a LA-9981P motherboard. It works on battery, but it doesn't work on a charger only. The charging light is on, but it's not charging. Is it possible that because the PU701 (BQ24717) is dead that the laptop won't power on using only the charger? On PU701 pin 15 is also grounded (inside the ic, not on motherboard). The traces on pins 12 and 13 are missing (liquid damage)

its not an issue!! its automatic heat sensing system that is been controlled by bios!! in bios u can select the option of "Fan always on"!!
