Last year I bought a buell in poor condition. I did it to see how much I could give but I’m not a mechanic, to be honest. I recognize that buell is somewhat complicated but I am already moving forward. I have a small problem with two lights that don’t turn me on like the neutral and the engine I think is electric 😅. Since they charge me 12.50 a day to use my xb12 in london now and mine has about 37k hard miles I'm going to be doing the same soon, have you tried a polyester spray filler/primer like evercoat slicksand, bit pricey but well worth the money. All the best with the resto.
