What nice machines those PETS are! My keyboard was fairly non-responsive on my 8032 model. I used a piece of copy paper to vigorously clean each rubber contact. It acts like a very mild abrasive and cleaned off 40 years of accumulated grease and such from the contacts. This same method has so far saved an Amiga 1200 KB, a VIC-20 keyboard and my PET keyboard.

With a bit of luck and very careful drilling you can manage to solder the broken pin back on the neck.

So what was wrong with the original PET mainboard? Using a modern replacement is nice and all, but sure would be leuk to see the original mainboard revived...

Broken beyond my capabilities. I replaced a lot of ic's and invested a lot of time and money on it. I passed it on to another collector. Hopefully he can get it sorted.
