Just received and unboxed the new "Super Deluxe 5 CD Set" of the Revolver Remix. Watch as I unpack it from the cardboard shipping container! What else is there to say? Oh right! There's something in this video you will not see in anyone else's "Revolver" video. That is guaranteed....
Big surprise is that I thought this 5 CD set still included the mono vinyl LP as a "souvenir" for those not owning a turntable. I'm not changing the video now though. There are so many editions of this it's difficult to keep track!
I'm listening now.....

The MONO vinyl is part of the vinyl box set, so it's not missing from this edition. What IS missing is a blu-ray with the Dolby Atmos/5.1/Hi Res mixes. Great video Michael. The first time I heard your opening 'more new records' I got a good laugh, 'cause it took me right back to my teen years: sneaking records past my parents and into my room. Later it would be girls...and more new records!

Yup, I can't tell you how disappointed I am to know Dolby Atmos/5.1/Hi Res mixes exist but they chose not to include them. ???

@@madteam3parents773 My understanding is that an Atmos mix was created, but that it has or will only be made available via streaming and not in a blu-ray as part of this set. Since the previous deluxe sets included a blu-ray, it's legitimate to wonder why the same wasn't don this time around.

You bought the wrong Box Set. You bought the 5 CD set which I want to buy! The other one with the Mono Vinyl LP is almost a hundred dollars more. Yikes! Thanks for showing me what’s in the 5 CD set! It looks great!

I got the CD Box set & the only thing I don't love about it is the mono mix. I hear slight distortion from that disc. I do love the new stereo mixes a lot. Much better than the 2009 stereo box set. I don't have a working turntable.

@@rambe2449 I don't agree. I don't like the first albums with songs like She Loves You and all that. It is cringie. Rubber Soul and Revolver are good albums, the others, not so much. It is overhyped, and it is subjective of course. People treat Beatles as they were God, they ain't.

Thanks Michael. You’re the FIRST to show us this deluxe box - cheers 🎉. I’m one Beatles fan who’s pissed that there is no BLU-RAY included, unlike all the other 50th Deluxe editions!! So expensive, and without a Blu-ray!! I’m NOT purchasing it, especially at this price, and especially as it doesn’t include a multi surround version. Yes, I know I can purchase the digital Atmos version, however I have NO intention of streaming any music, as I want a HARD copy of my own. Rey disappointed also that McCARTNEY has released Atmos versions of His 3 McCartney albums, again NOT on a Blu-ray 😡. Enjoy your copy, especially as it’s a free, demo copy. 🎶🎸😎

For the prices they charge for these ridiculous boxsets, they should've thrown the CD, blu-ray and vinyl together in just one boxset for say at the most $99, not a dollar over that price. I'm not tempted to buy this set at all because of these principles.

@@mikechivy What I ment, as you misunderstood, is that you can not rely on streaming alone. They often remove or don't have a particular album on their service. And when internet is down or out, you have no music. I am not a CD-fan anymore, but understand that it is a good way of having a backup. What you also misunderstood is that the pricing of these boxsets are ridiculous. Beatles can learn from Pink Floyd boxsets - it is half the price, and more content. And your perfect-resolution comment 😂 No, that is not good enough. I buy physical as long as they create products with love and passion. This Revolver boxset is not made with love and passion in their thoughts. You can clearly see that they only want $$$$ from you.

@@mikechivy When Apple collapses, there is no more Macbook's or iphone's. I don't use Apple streaming if that is what you mean? So, I am not dependent on this company to listen to music. I buy physical media, but not much CDs anymore. It is not good enough imo, so 1,411 kbps is not enough for me. But hey, we are all different.

Pretty sure you’re the only person on earth who thought there’d be an LP in the CD box set. There’s a completely separate vinyl box set with 4 LPs and an EP. There’s also a 2-CD set, a single new mix CD, a single new mix LP, and a Picture Disc. All of this has been abundantly clear from the publicity. And if I recall correctly, no previous Beatles box sets included vinyl and CD in the same package, but I could be mistaken about that.

Michael, McCartney nor Giles Martin has ever included the vinyl record in any of these CD Box sets....Giles has put out .....Sgt. Pepper/White Album/Abbey Road/and Let It be/remixed..none of them have the vinyl mixed in with the cd's. One has to purchase a SEPARATE vinyl box set which retails for a higher price. Macca does the same with his Archive Box sets that he has been putting out for I believe the last 12 years. They are all top shelf high level productions as fas as I'm concerned. Macca's next should be "London Town" or "Back to the Egg" Also Beatles fans have posted many, many , videos of unboxing all these Beatles newly mixed Box Sets, and all the Macca Archive box sets.

Thanks for sharing. You received the Super Deluxe CD set, there is a Super Deluxe 4 LP set (more expensive). They never combine the CDs with the LPs.

Im a former recovering marijuana smoker who stop smoking about 15 years back....Reason? t he ( thc made me very sicbay ) I almost died!..I grew up around pot ..I look back in discust now due to naitevity on my behalf The muisic was great from the greatful Dead to the ( sons of Chaplin marin County band ) bay area .Rock...Happy to keep my lungs clean these Days..

Did you ever get your Vinyl box version? To be honest I thought the mono LP sounded awful. Enjoyed the new stereo mix though. For the money we pay for vinyl box sets these days I would like to see them include (throw in) the CD versions too. Vinyl for home and CD for the car.

The Beatles box sets are always separate. No vinyl and cd are never together. Also I like the revolver box. To me idk why Apple didnt do them like the Led Zeppelin box sets. Include vinyl and the cd and have the boxes look the same oh well. Very cool though can’t wait to get the vinyl box set👍🏻

I don't understand engineers going out of their way to source a CD from 96k/24 bit , when the end result (because of the compact disc limitations) is always 44.1k 16bit!

LP reissue over the last few months (and its various reissue format pkgs) amongst music aficionados / fans than THIS Beatles Revolver set. 24 hours later I know you know the options so I'm laughing WITH you, not at ya! PS I also would add BN Tone Poet's Blue Train and AP's KOB as likewise huge announcements. Should have my vinyl box(!) by Saturday along with the 2-CD set. 👍👍

Mike - I don't make YT videos. However, I watch yours occasionally and noticed toxicity trying to engage or address your haters on just about every video you make now. I'm not you, and of course you can choose to ignore this. A bit of advice, maybe let it go now and just do what you do best, reviewing what you hear or don't hear and people can take or leave it. The people who support you will be here, while the others can ignore. It's your channel - you do what you must. Personally, I usually reserve my opinions for when I hear the record. Wasn't it Dennis Eaton-Hogg (in Spinal Tap)? This set, BTW, is consistent with the other Beatles remixed sets that you ONLY get vinyl in the vinyl box and you ONLY get cd (or cd/dvd) in the CD box. So if you're a fool like this one you buy the box twice. Play the cds at work, rips of same in the car, and play the vinyl at home (or keep it sealed for your grandchildrens' college fund).

There’s no lp in the cd box set because it’s the CD box set FFS . the lp was never intended to be included nor have any of the past beatle boxes include both formats.
