We were honored to participate in ‪@VelocityInvitational‬ last weekend at Sonoma Raceway. We brought the 1965 Ferrari 250 LM and the 1969 Porsche 917 PA. Driver ‪@gunnarjeannette‬ and our workshop team put on a show for fans of all ages and were rewarded for their efforts with wins in respective classes. The 250 LM, running in a class of production sports cars 1963 - 1969, enjoyed great battles with a Lotus 26R. The 917 PA ran with other historic Can-Am cars, going wheel-to-wheel with big-block McLarens… much like it did in 1969. Race cars were built to be raced: an event like this not only helps keep the cars in working order, it inspires the next generation to preserve these cars as cultural treasures.
