No brute force, just gentle craftmanship. We are happy when get time and peace around us to loose our self inte a task like this. We all have a potential but are tricked in to being a mindless consumer. This is what we are meant to be. Creative and skilled in the image of our God.

Used to see this being done alot like 10 yrs ago here in kenya...i don't see it happen much these days... this is a dying skill. Good work!

I have rebuilt some really intricate things in my day. My son has watched me do this, and every chance he gets, he always watches intently, and asks the right questions. I also have the habit of treating those times as a classroom, and explain what I am doing and why. The only issue I have with these rebuild videos is that there is not a good verbal tutorial along with it. The best I’ve seen is the channel, Primitive Technology. Watching is one thing. Turning in the Closed Captions and you’ll get the narration and the logic as to WHY!!!

Пакет железа разобрать и покрыть лаком каждую стальную пластину с одной из сторон.

Самое главное он испортил якорь, между железными пластинами была тонкая изоляция из лака, он всё сжёг! КПД будет ниже, якорь (вал с обмотками) будет нагреваться... Так бы якорь болванкой с отверстиями под обмотки выливали, автор должен это знать, это как в сердечниках трансформатора. Комментаторы тут конечно не на те минусы указывают...

As a US Navy trained Motor Rewinder I have rewound many types of Motors, Generators and Armatures. I never have rewound a buss barred armature in that time, though. Wondered how you could do that! As far as the slot paper you used, was that Nomex or …? Nice job, looks good!

Looks like he has done this once or twice before. It always amazes me how "easy" somebody can make something look when they are incredibly skilled at their craft. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was a before and after test of the starter. If I attempted this I would have ended up breaking at least 1/3 of those copper bars and tossing it all in the recycle pile! lol.

I worked at a motor repair facility in Toledo Ohio and saw large industrial motors being repaired. I worked in the marketing department and did not repair motors . This is an art ! My hats off as it is a tough dirty job but and art that is needed to keep good electrical motors running today! Very nice video but I would never attempt! Lol

Красиво, трудолюбиво, как индийское такси, но не заработает... Выгорел лак между пластин электротехнической стали, проводники в пазах не изолированы друг от друга, изоляция пластин коллектора выжжена и забита медной пылью- круговой огонь. Но красиво.

А где испытания якоря в сборе с индуктором? Проще говоря, где испытания стартера с новым якорем? Считаю, что стержни обмотки якоря необходимо было покрыть лаком для исключения пробоя от влажности. 🤔

Такое можно делать либо от безысходности, либо для создания АСМР видео

Металл уже отпущен во время оджига изоляции медного проводника. Да и сердечник явно спасибо не скажет после такого нагрева. Что из этого так же как у нового будет работать большой вопрос. Нам на производство одно время завозили двигателя после таких перемоток. Так они долго не ходят после такого. Не стоит цена таких переделок посравнению с новым. Но это сугубо мое мнение. А так да перебрать такой агригат это талант.

Eu quando ganhei do meu pai um fusca ou um Volkswagen Beatle um eletricista fez um trabalho desses no dinamo do carro, realmente depois de pronto ele fez o teste e montou o dínamo, e nos 4 anos que fiquei com o carro nunca precisei fazer nenhum tipo de manutenção nele, pois o mesmo ficou gerando corrente de uma forma muito eficiente. Great work. However, I have 2 comments. 1. You should not sand lamination. You may short some of them which will lower efficiency and create heat. 2. By heating lamination, you change their magnetic domains. A more complex heat treatment is required. Again it impacts motor efficiency. Regards

A couple of things, should the armature wires not be re-enamelled before refitting? And if you're fitting the old wires, how was there extra material to cut off?

I'm glad there's an internet to search for this part or somebody willing to do this work if i can't locate a replacement part.
