The seamless transition from character select to actual fighting is so fucking clean. I really hope gameplay ends up being as good as the game looks.

if you see this, I have a feeling that this was an injustice game before and they switched it over to mk, the "xrays" have the startup of the injustice games, the graphics lowkey remind me of inj 2 and the intros are literally clashes but repurposed. What do yall think tho?

I think they made the movement of the characters more realistic because see it from a martial artists point of view

Another thing confirmed is wakeup/getup specials. Kenshi does it during Ed's speech. So no more up2/up3 wakeups probably.

They have a up block mechanic now for jumping attacks. Hold up and block at the right time (like flawless block) and you get kombo opportunity.

two of my favorite mk players, Rewind miss them mkx days. I'm right there with him. No scrubby fatal blows and hold that damage no rolling away, get up or flawless blocks. Adapt or die lol. I love it.
