Not every character rework implies a character has a “bad” kit, or that I don't like the character. Some reworks may be chosen for the sake of exploring new options.
===Rework Guidelines===
1) Reworked characters must have the same element and weapons.
2) The main scalings should remain consistent or should feel thematically accurate.
3) The identity and team roles of a unit should remain consistent or feel thematically accurate to the character’s identity.
4) In calculations, characters and weapons are level 90, while the talents are all 8. Artifact substats aren't included. Enemy DEF/RES, constellations, and external buffs aren't included unless I say so. If Enemy DEF/RES is included, assume enemy level is 100 and Base RES is 10%.

With the permanent IR and hp buffs on C1, I think she’d be one of the best supports for a C0 Neuvillete. This was a really cool video and if the rumours of lvl 100 characters coming is true I really hope they add some of the mechanics in your video to Dehya’s kit

It still baffles me they made her so mediocre before cons. From the burst not working with certain units to the weird skill resistance up time, it just feels like she was just made to get out with an idea that was never fully thought through Aside from that, I still like to play her at c0, but man what she could’ve been. Atm, all I can wish without too much being done with her, is a lower burst cost either through more particle generation or something in that area

It's because they made her a standard character. If she was good, you wouldn't be happy to losing your 50/50

@@dominickroberts4653 But Tighnari is good at c0 and was probably intended to be a standard character. Dehya likely wasn't but becaues they f'd up her kit they decided to put her on standard so that they could free up any future spots that would have been her rerun for characters that would sell more.

@@Wilmadiamondtbh, my guess is that they were too afraid to make someone who would be overpowered. Cause in theory, Dehya does a lot just very poorly. Provides defense/dmg mitigation to the entire team, damage (lackluster dmg) that is both on and off field) and even heals herself. I doubt this is the case but she honestly could’ve been my favorite unit if done right. For now, I’ll just wait till I get cons 😭

@@Wilmadiamond I don’t think Hoyo realised that Tighnari would be as good as he would be, they likely assumed people would pull for him but then drop him once new Dendro dps units arrived, which did happen but not to the extent they expected. Not to mention that Keqing got buffed by Dendro and became really good, while Jean and Mona have always been pretty useful. That left 2 of the 6 Standard units to be pretty lacklustre, which was bad because players who would lose the 50/50 may not be as annoyed if they got one of the better standard units, so they wouldn’t impulse buy to pull for the limited unit out of frustration. So they made Dehya’s kit really bad in order to compensate, but it didn’t do much as Diluc has made a resurgence due to Xianyun allowing him to plunge, which is a weird niche team that makes him pretty good, while Qiqi recently got this odd team with Chlorinde, it’s not as big as Diluc and Xianyun but it’s something. Also with Emilie’s release, Dehya may find herself in burning comps soon.

When i first heard she was a tank type character i was soooo excited because there is so much to play with in that role. And then they just didnt and here we are. Not that I expected Dehya to be like archon level designed kit wise but based off her role she easily wouldve been INSANE. Providing pyro dps, team sustain, support etc.

its crazy how much more dmg she deals while still being well within expectation (i mean far from above) of a recent character, she would just feel interesting and impactful to play in a good way ... nice vid

I’ve heard rumors that we might get level 100 characters in the future, not sure if they will be true tho! But it could be really fun to think what new passive talents could come with level 100 characters. Can you do a video of how you would rebalance weaker characters just by adding a new passive? For example, here’s my idea for Venti! Venti’s A7 passive: when Venti uses his elemental burst, increases movement and attack speed of nearby party members normal, charged and plunging attacks by 30% and whenever another party member’s attack hit an opponent he will deal a coordinated Anemo attack worth 20% of the original attack damage, this coordinated attack can only trigger every 0.6 seconds. This could be very useful to bring up weaker characters like Yoimiya, Ayato and Wanderer (all of them benefit from the crowd control and attack speed) while adding a little more sub dps. I feel attack speed representa anemo very well, but instead of being just another buffer (like faruzan, Kazuha, Xianyun and sucrose) he could take the role of sub dps like most of the archons :D I also wanted to share my idea for the Pyro Archon, which was inspired by your videos 💕💕 (you are amazing!) and Dehya’s kit :D - Elemental skill: deals offfield damage and absorbs the damage that other party members receive in a 1:4 ratio. Meaning that for every 1% of Hp a teammate loses, she loses 4%. Visually it could be cool if the off field pyro attacks were in the shape of fire rings that expanded from the active character position outwards, hitting opponents in its way. The attacks would be somewhat slower than xiangling (kinda how furina is slower than Xingqiu and Yelan). - Elemental burst: creates a big fire ring that prevents enemies from getting out of it, and buffs the ATK of the entire team as long as you are inside the circle (it’s bigger than Bennett don’t worry xD although the buff is a little less than bennett because it’s party-wide) - A1 Passive: the lower HP she has, the more damage she deals. (This is to create an anti-synergy with furina so it isn’t too broken, but the A4 passive compensates for it) - A4 Passive: when she loses all of her HP due to absorbing too much damage from teammates, she creates a explosion (dealing nuke damage) and revives (regaining the energy lost). This is inspired by how phoenixes resurrect! And scales with her elemental skill talent. I hope you like it!💗💗 the inspiration for this kit was to make something new. Right now the two main forms of sustain are healers and shielders, but with a kit like this damage absorption could take a place in the meta :) just to change things up a little from the usual shields/healers

Also her off field damage wouldn’t be as much as furina because she does the nuke damage and also buffs a lot. But it would still be a nice addition

I WANT SO MUCH, a Level 100 and thd idea of passives are really promising to revert long term powercreeping (something that Fontaine did a lot)

I’ve heard about this too, I think it’ll be a nice attention to the game to revive old characters. Tho I have my doubts due to how ambitious it is, I’m hopeful there’s some truth to this rumor. To add on to ur a7 passive, I feel like a character like kokomi can gain more hydro dmg bonus based on her max hp. Or even giving someone like Chiori a small buffing capability that buffs the teams atk/Geo dmg bonus based on the elements of the characters in the party. Similar to Yunjin and Yelan

I'd like to post my idea about reworking qiqi here too (I love concepts like this so much) My ideal TLDR : making qiqi a healer that can also battery, but different from other cryo battery Basic attack - nothing changes, but her charge attack now applies "Rigor Mortis" to enemy hit Rigor mortis : enemies marked by rigor mortis have their damage reduced by 20%. Any attacks (normal, plunge, charge, elemental skill, elemental burst damage) will consume rigor mortis, restoring 0.5 energy to the whole party. Damage reduction from rigor mortis will linger for 2 seconds after the mark has been consumed Elemental skill : - summon a herald of frost and herald of chill that will orbit qiqi and the active character. Herald of frost will apply rigor mortis and deal cryo damage while herald of chill will consume rigor mortis while healing the active character and dealing cryo damage (qiqi still won't generate any cryo particle, to make her unique lol) if no rigor mortis present, the heal will be halved Elemental burst : Qiqi unleash an area of chilly decay that will continuously apply rigor mortis to any emenies inside the area while dealing cryo damage. The chilly decay area will slowly follow qiqi around Passive 1 : Every time qiqi consume rigor mortis mark, her elemental skill cd will be reduced by 0.5 second Passive 2 Every x points of qiqi's attack will gives her ×% healing bonus and z% more energy from consuming rigor mortis mark C1 Enemies marked with rigor mortis mark will have their elemental and physical resistance reduced by 15% C2 If qiqi triggers any cryo related reactions, she will gain 10% attack bonus. This effect can stack up to 3 times. Allies gains 50% of the attack value qiqi gain via this method C3 Increase skill level by 3 C4 When qiqi burst is active, and a rigor mortis stack is consumed, all party members gain the following bonuses : increase er by 10%, increase defence by 20% and increase hp by 15%. Max 3 stacks. Duration lingers for 10 seconds C5 Increase elemental skill burst by 3 C6 When qiqi use her burst, she will revive all fallen party members (old passive lol) I don't want to use too much of a specific number to not make her op (I hate math) and I aim to make her a decent cryo applicator and battery at c0, but at later cons she can give various buffs too. Also she buff other attributes thag are normally not buffed at c5 (hp, def, er) so she can be slotted into various teams at later cons

F the haters. I main Dehya. I love her. If you want to use her as a main dps. Er, Pyro goblet, crt R or Crt Dmg depends on if you have her weapon or not on the VG or Emblem set. Her main source is her burst since it's an actual one long elemental burst and use her E once don't reactive cuz she needs that Er. Oh and aim for 200+ Er. Her Team is flexible like: Benny Xianling Sucrose Every catalyst with Thrill Kaeya for melt 5-star is Koko Kazu Furina

When Sumeru was released, I was sure that she would be used for Burning/Burgeon, like Nilou for Bloom and Cyno for Aggravate/Hyperbloom. I made her to be something between Cyno and Nilou. She is still a Main DPS with HP and ATK scaling, but also uses EM for Burgeon/Burning and can be used as a support. Here are my changes: Base HP: 15675 → 13278 Base ATK: 265 → 320 Base DEF: 628 Ascension Stat: HP% → CRIT DMG Normal Attack Normal Attack scaling are the same as before. Elemental Skill Dehya deals AoE Pyro DMG, and creates a field known as Fiery Sanctum. Fiery Sanctum Has the following properties: ·When an opponent within a Fiery Sanctum field takes DMG, the field will unleash a Ranging Flame which deal AoE Pyro DMG to them based on Dehya's ATK and Max HP. ·Ranging Flame can be triggered once every 1,5s. ·Active characters within this field have their resistance to interruption increased, and when such characters take DMG or its HP is consumed, a portion of that damage will be mitigated and flow into Redmane's Blood. Dehya will then take this DMG over 10s. When the mitigated DMG stored by Redmane's Blood reaches or goes over a certain percentage of Dehya's Max HP, she will stop mitigating DMG in this way. Redmane's Blood accumulated within 20s will increase base DMG of Molten Inferno and Leonine Bite (10% at lvl 10, I liked your idea of buffing her DMG based on DMG taken, so I added this as an additional bonus) Only 1 Fiery Sanctum created by Dehya herself can exist at the same time. (Creates a particle every 1,5s, Duration 18s, CD 4s. Kinda like Albedo's Skill. Scales with both ATK and HP, DMG mitigation is similar to yours, DMG mitigation is higher, while HP consumption mitigation is lower) Elemental Burst Unleashing her burning anger and casting her inconvenient blade aside, Dehya enters the Blazing Lioness state and increases her resistance to interruption. Blazing Lioness Dehya's Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks will be converted to Pyro DMG that cannot be overridden. ·Dehya's Elemental Mastery will greatly increase (200). ·Gains 75% Pyro RES against Burning DMG. ·Deals 25% increased DMG against opponents that are affected by Burning, if an opponent is no longer Burning for more than 6s, this DMG Bonus will decrease to 0%. Every time Dehya takes DMG from Dendro Core (Burgeon) or Burning, Blazing Lioness state will extend its duration by 1s, can occur once every 0,2s. This effect will be canceled when Dehya leaves the field and lasts a maximum of 18s. (Burst is similar to Cyno’s, with its own scaling, again scaling both with ATK and HP, cost still 70. I also added some RES to Burning DMG so she wouldn’t just die and also some DMG bonus against enemies that are Burning since she can’t make use of sth like Quicken in Cyno’s case in Quickbloom team) Passive Talents 1.When her HP is less than 35%, Dehya will recover 40% of her Max HP and will restore 4% of her Max HP every 2s for the next 10s. This effect can be triggered once every 12s. Additionally, during Blazing Lioness state, Dehya's attacks will restore 5% Max HP for all party members except Dehya herself based on her Max HP. This effect can be triggered once every 1s up to 6 times. (Kinda like Fu Xuan from HSR plus her old passive) 2.Dehya's DMG values will be increased based on her Elemental Mastery as follows: ·Blazing Lioness's Normal Attack DMG is increased by 150% of her Elemental Mastery. ·Ranging Flame DMG is increased by 250% of her Elemental Mastery. (Passive exactly like Cyno’s) 3.During the day (06:00-18:00), your party members gain the Swift Stride effect: Movement SPD increased by 10%. Does not take effect in Domains, Trounce Domains, or Spiral Abyss. Swift Stride does not stack. (Same as before) Constellations 1.When Fiery Sanctuary is active, Dehya receives 50% less mitigated DMG. Additionally, Redmane's Blood accumulation is doubled. (More survivability, idk if that would be amazing or trash tbh, I don't have her, so I am not even familiar with her base survivability) 2.When Dehya's Normal Attacks hit opponents, her Pyro DMG Bonus will increase by 10% for 4s. This effect can be triggered once every 0,1s. Max 5 stacks. (Like Cyno’s) 3.Increases the Level of Leonine Bite by 3. 4.When Leonine Bite is unleashed, all nearby party members gain 60 Elemental Mastery for 8s. The Leonine Bite will further increase Elemental Mastery by 60 if it triggers a Burgeon or Burning reaction. This latter case will also refresh the duration of the buff state. 5.Increases the Level of Molten Inferno by 3. 6.The CRIT Rate of Leonine Bite is increased by 20%. Additionally, after a Fiery Sanctum attack hits an opponent and deals CRIT Hit, it will cause the CRIT DMG of Leonine Bite to increase by 20% for the rest of Blazing Lioness's duration. This effect can be triggered every 0.2s and CRIT DMG can be increased by a maximum of 60% this way. (Her old C6 buffed) Here are my changes, idk how good (or bad) she would be, since I wasn’t doing calculation. Edit: I forgot to mention changes to her Signature Weapon. The only thing changed is passive to be like SoSS. Base ATK 608 CRIT Rate 33,1% Passive - Desert Watch The equipping character gains 52%~104% of their Elemental Mastery as bonus ATK. After the character's Elemental Skill hits an opponent or character takes DMG, their ATK will be increased by 28%~56% of their Elemental Mastery for 8s. Max 2 stacks. The aforementioned effect can be triggered even when the character is not on the field. Additionally, when not protected by a shield, the character's Max HP will be increased by 32%~64%.

One thing id prefer is if she just had hp scaling but had an hp to atk conversion passive to maximize tankiness and damage

I mean she was initially limited. A character being standard shouldn't be an excuse to make them crap even though that's the standard no pun intended.

All her current cons need to be in her C0 and the new const need to be upgrade and made her do more and have even more functions

I won't say those changes are bad, not at all, but maybe there are too many ? I mean, now she is a strong off-field dps who gives a lot of defensive utility while being a strong on-field dps that synergizes with Xingqiu/Yelan and deals even more damage with HP consumption, like for example Furina, which means she is a stronger Yoimiya with defensive utility. I wouldn't change her burst synergies at all, she should be a off-field sub dps with utility.

That’s a fair point. Simply removing the freeze or stunning in her burst would be more than enough to prevent the major issues of her burst comfort. Although, I don’t think we could make her movement a stance change while keeping it as “burst animations” to prevent XQ/Yelan procs. At least from a coding standpoint. So if we remove her synergy with them, the auto-movements might be an issue still

@@spiderninja_1 Honestly, the freeze immunity isn't really the biggest deal, especially since she has a high interruption resistance through her skill, we could keep that idea. I definitely agree with the stance change part to prevent auto-movement, but we could consider the attacking button as a special burst cast so it won't be considered as pressing the normal attack button and thus XQ/Yelan wouldn't trigger, I really don't see her having good synergy with Bennett, Furina, XQ/Yelan, etc, it would make her like all the other pyro characters, especially considering the infusion on her C6 that would already make her synergistic with them.

To be honest the problem with Dehya is not the fact that her abilities are having average uptime the problem is that it doesn't 'work' with everything....by that i mean (every single thing) Emblem set is causing her to bleed too much, Firewalker is for Pyro procs yet her Pyro procs are overdundant in the burst...This character Actually rewards you for playing Slower and Bursting less often and to top it off this decision in itself cuts your overall DPS potential to be a lot less because you proc Pyro WAY TOO Often! Meaning you dont reapply the fire damage for that Burst damage of the Pyro effect and the last problem is again you just dont hit that potential Damage Chart high enough to make it worth it. It doesn't compare to other 5 stars when it comes to total damage potential!! The only way to make this character work is if you've got Qiqi in your team as off field support and build her for ocean Clam artifact set and make Dehya sort of like e elemental mastery reverse/melt vaporize team even then your reactions will deal less damage than Qiqi's overheal!!

If Pyro element applied Pyro cores left on the ground similar to dendro for the extra Pyro procs to explode later or if there was a Pyro Artifact that has similar concept to Ocean Clam set exploding upon causing multiple Pyro procs it would certainly make this character viable as a DMG dealer the only thing I am hoping for at the moment is Pyro archon 's weapon to have a good synergy since it's confirmed to be a Claymore with Pyro procing or Melting causing continuous Pyro on an enemy to create some form of burst damage scaling off of your stuff!

I love this so much!! Dehya is one of my favs, I pulled for her when she came out and currently I’m lucky enough to have her c3. I mainly use her for my Lyney but sometimes I use her as a dps. Imma remain optimistic and hope they do something about her kit

Honestly I feel like if they just changed her burst to heal the whole team based on the total amount of damage stored in Redmane, she'd be decent already. Hell, she already has self-heal on burst in her cons, just make it part of her bade kit and make it apply to the whole team instead

What Navia, Nuevillette, Arlechino and Clorinde have that older characters and Dehya doesn't have is insane multipliers. Give those multipliers to those characters I assure you there aint any difference.

instead of putting a chance to generate a particle on hit for the skill i prefer when there is juste an icd for it. making it less rng and somewhat frustrating.

I have her at C2 after losing to her consecutively.... I love her my usual team for her is furina, kazuha, benny/raiden(for burst dmg) and she does 20-50k dmg per burst hit.... That's actually biiiigggg... I run her on emblem and sometimes switch on VG if i want her max hp build around 70k hp as sub dps

I always wanted her to be better for burnmelt teams and you really had to do her icd dirty like that💀 Even then the extra personal damage and IR duration increase make it a little bit better

This rework allows HP consumptions to proc Dehya’s ability. So for this scenario, it does have interactions with Furina’s fanfare. But for her actual kit, you’re right that it doesn’t affect Furina or other HP manipulation mechanics

Would love it if you could rework zhongli. Not that he'd bad or anything but i wish he would be more of a relevant off field sub dps that represents crystallization as a character instead of shield then gone

Deyha was one of the character I like but have a bad expression against so Im happy she getting some love now. Im looking forward for your next Reworking - this time Chongyun. He got way overshadowed by his friends and I have did so many attempt on changing his kits, but hearing people opinions would make it feel better.

Honestly i do not support any Dehya improvements. I like to have a character which makes Qiqi pull feel not as bad as before. I lose 50/50 to Qiqi and smiling - " at least it.s not Dehya"
