The thing is that you don't need to get good at making voices, you just have to be good at acting with your voice. Being able to make other voices is just a plus, Connor has talked about this. Sometimes the director wants a specific voice and the one voice you're able to do might be that voice somebody else has been waiting for/wanting for a specific role but there is no point in having that voice if you can't act with it.

Same with screen actors: no matter what she appears in, Jennifer Aniston will ALWAYS be so obviously herself that it hurts to watch, but a master like Ian McKellen can make you believe it's someone completely different wearing their face. It's like when people say 'teaching's easy, anyone could do it' - yeah, cuz you grew up with teachers who set every lesson to self-study and then slept at their desk until the bell rang. When you set the bar for an acceptable performance THAT low, anything's easy.

Connor wears it as the badge of not really honor. He wears it as a badge while denying it while also admitting it.

Telling Henya everyone knows and she doesn't need to think much about Connor's secret, an open joke in his community, doesn't seem like a big deal. I don't even think he's under contract.
