RGBIC can be cut as well. Just look make sure you choose that option because not all will. The WW’s are nice for under cabinet lighting to control the Kelvin temp of the lights from Warm white say 2700K to 6000K which is more of a bluish tint, 4000K is mid spectrum so that’s a true white or neutral white like you see in most offices and stores. The RGB are pretty basic to give some pop of color but when looking at the lights direct you’ll notice the overlapping colors to make up that color like yellow for instance will show the mix of colors looking at it direct, better off using them not direct if your going for solid colors. Govee is the way to go on brand as he mentions in this video, they have better overall LED technology.

this video just blowed my mind, is so different to other convencional led strips, I believe it's because of Govee, normally a RGBIC does not have true whites, you need to get RGBCCTIC for dedicated whites and has 6 pins, also RGBWW on all other fabricators means RGBWarmWhite (not iclude cold white) it should be RGBCCT (this one include warm white and cold white), Govee is creating his own world XD

Hard choice. I just bought pretty expensive diffusers. The rgb I’ve seen have higher leds per meter than the rgbic, so they’ll look better.

Are the ICs able to produce a pretty decent warm white? Would you be able to show a comparison between the warm whites between the ICs nd WWs?

This video was informative. I learned a few things. I think if you plugged them in as you were talking to show the different effects (I think the RGBWIC have a much nicer look with the individually addressable lights and effects that are possible don't they?). I have ordered a set and haven't seen them live but the sales video I saw that showed the lights in action looked great. Whilst watching this I was thinking if you had the lights on and running to show us what they looked like when you were playing with the app then this would have been a ten out of ten for me. I thought the RGBWW could also be controlled separatly. I got FlowPro bars they are RGBIC and also have that same Kelvin slider

What i feel is misleading on Goovee packing, they showing the LED strips with multiple colors on the string even when its just RGB led strips. Probably done to make the packaging look better, but it is kinda false advertisement

Hello I wanna purchase a few govee light strips and use them in the ceiling, but the problem is i want to hide everything inside the ceiling including govee remotes. I'd like to control lights only from the app. Is this possible to completely hide remotes and don't use them at all? I'm wondering if my home is out of electricity for a while, will i be able to turn light strips on by not using remote or i will have to press buttons on remotes ,? Regards
