I am curious to know how the crop option of the PiP menu works. I am considering buying this device and this function is essential to superimpose the sports scoreboard using PiP.

I believe I had the same problem at first. I think if you connect it to your computer with usb 2.0 it will help. I had problems connecting it to usb 3.0

Hi. Is there any setting for the usb webcam out? Mine the quality is really bad. The hdmi out are great and sharp. But the usb webcam out, just chopy not sharp and really bad looking. Please advice sir

maybe try updating the firmware via their website. or contact rgblink directly.

unable to configure sound to come through - using mixer for line in with multiple cameras with one PTZ camera other regular camera input. using obs to livestream to KZfaq. No sound.. Also ptz control does not work - on same network segment and connected via network cable, any thoughts?

I haven't used this switcher in several months. I'm now using the Osee Gostream deck kit. it might be the cable you are using or the menu settings in the switcher menu. Or it could be you need to adjust some settings in obs as well.

Hey there, if I'm understanding your question correctly. It could be the file type that is not supported. What file type is not playing? What pc? how did you record? onto the usb stick?

I just want to say THANK you for going through this step by step…. I am purchasing this for a tv show and the other videos were too short and didn’t break it down the way you did. I feel much more confident with my selection now because of your video! My question; the software that comes with it (interface), can we use iPad or does it need a PC/MacBook hard drive to use?

How do you lower the brightness or contrast? I can't find any settings in the menu on the unit. I'm running this with an LED wall and the output it's sending is so bright I can't do a blackout on the wall. It's like a faint white on the screen. If I run straight through my laptop this isn't a problem.

I don’t think you can adjust the contrast of the screen. Maybe in future firmware update it could be possible

I don’t recall 100% as it’s been a while since I used this video switcher. I would just double check the user manual specs or check online on their website. Unfortunately I don’t recall at the top of my head

How do you connect your mixer to the rgb link?

Hey there Mike I’m to be honest I haven’t used this switcher in a long time. If I remember correctly you send the line out from your mixer into the microphone input on the video switcher. Then I believe you will need to configure the audio settings within the menu of the video switcher. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more assistance. I can try my best to help if I can.

I didn’t expect a reply. So thanks for taking the time. I actually was able to figure out a solution. It wasn’t with the hardware. I ended up going with an external DAW. running my audio on a seperate channel inside of OBS. Worked out great and sounds much better than trying to use the built in audio inputs and outputs. I was able to mix the hdmi inputs separately and come up with a decent final mix that works for my set up. Much appreciated for replying and assisting 💯

Hello, i bought the Mini Pro mainly because of the USB Recording feature. I want to produce Drum Tutorials for Students. The Videorecording is totaly fine. But i don´t get the Audio to record as well! I´ve tried the following: HDMI 1 set the Audio to Mix, connected the Main Out from my Mixer to the Line Input of the Camera. Nice Audio Level - NO Audio Recording at all! Connected the Main Out of the Mixer to the Audio In on the RGBLink - NO Audio Recording at all! Record Audio in the Recording Menu is also enabled! Is there a solution for that? If it´s not working, the hole feature is kind of pointless. Thanks in Advance! Chris

Hey Drum Unity. That’s a good question I believe from my tests that I have done the USB will also record the audio. I would double check the audio settings within the menu. It’s been a few weeks since I have used the mini pro as I just recently moved. 🏡 So once I get it setup again I will test this myself specifically. Let me know if you find a solution or get it working to also record the audio during USB recording. If you haven’t already I would suggest to join the RGBlink Facebook group and ask your same question there as there will be several other users around the world that may be able to help. @@LEOPAZZOPRODUCTIONS Hello Leopazzo, i‘ve reached out to the RGBlink Support and they responded very quickly! They offered 2 solutions: Reset the Unit to Factory Settings, Update the Unit to the newest Version. So i did the reset. But a couple of minutes ago, i opened a recorded file With the VLC Media Player and everything worked out totally fine!!!🥳 Also uploaded the Same file to YT just to check: everything is totally fine here as well! BUT opening the Same file With QuickTime of FCPX, there is no Audio at all! 🤷♂️ I‘ve reported the issue to the Support of RGBlink and I’ll let you know what they have to say! @@LEOPAZZOPRODUCTIONS Hello, sorry for letting you wait so long! I Only can Play the Video uncluding the Audiotrack by using the VLC Media Player. I use Mac. So wether QuickTime nor Final Cut can read the Audiotrack!!! Thats a huge, huge bummer!! But With VLC everything works fine. I have to find a Programm to Transfer the Video in a Different Format, which both Mac Programms can read. Do you have any suggestions for a good Freeware Video Converter for Mac? Kinda breaks my workflow…

@LeoPazzo I did that today and got nothing. Do you think it was the wrong cable or a setting in the switcher. Thank you for your quick response. I am currently helping a church to do their first live stream tomorrow using multi cams. Got everything else hooked up except the audio..
