WELCOME BACK TO OTP WEEK 2023! (doing OTP Week this year took 6 months, I can't believe I made this back in February LMFAO, most of these i made back in February and March, but then I just got stuck on Day 4 and this week is only happening now here in mid June LMFAO)
OTP WEEK: DAY 1
“Queen Alicent hasn’t forgotten the love you once shared.”
I am still blown away by how in love with them I was during the season. How the books took a character I HATED (Alicent) and made her relatable and likable (not only because of Rhaenyra) but it was such a genius move to make the heart of the show about their relationship. And I KNOW they knew what they were doing by putting in all the sapphic subtext.
I am disappointed in myself for not editing them more during the season, but I haven’t been editing much at all in general lately because of real life, but glad I got back around to these two here for OTP week.
