It wouldn't be an Igavania game without the most busted weapon in the world. This isn't available until very late game, but is great for Boss Rush and NG+.

Rhava Velar. yes, the killer's choice for removing tough enemies of all kinds. I know many people like it for its quick successive hits, but the part that makes this weapon an absolute terror IMO is what it doesn't do. That simply being, it doesn't hold you in place if you strike from the ground. You don't have to sit there and wait through the swing animation. That one thing alone is the sole reason I would get hit. I'd say 70% of the hits I've taken have been that. With the Rhava Velar, my enemies lose their main chance of hitting me, and therefore their only chance of winning.

Instead of playing resident evil tank controls you become the unstoppable always moving doom slayer, and these enemies are locked in the castle with you. ;)

It will do massive damage at high levels with Strength gear, Augment STR, passive Sword Expertise and Optimizer, active Sword Expertise, and the Strength boosts from food. Still not as much as other swords with that setup, it'll still come from the attacks it produces, but the actual damage per slice will be higher.

I just recently started the game a few days ago after pre ordering. And found I like the combo of optimizer rank 9 shard with firearm 9 in the skill section. A gun. The recycle hat for all of Susie's quests and diamond bullets. Hits most bosses like 400 per hit.

Interesting! I thought that Rhava Búral was the proper Crissaegrim homage, and I used it for too long because that's the easiest and funny weapon to use in the enemies. Good to know that I'll have even much more fun!

True, for exemple, Gun build are insane. I put 500 damage by shoot without crits and infinite ammo. Just boost attack speed, crit+ and Crit damage + and it's showtime

I got this from one of the barber dudes at the library. It's "ok". No stopping power not the range like the crissaegrim. I've found it useful for clearing annoyance enemies like bats. Wish I had a turbo controller since it doesn't have the multiple slashes for one button press the cris did.

I feel like you didn't watch the video. The one that drops from the barber is not the weapon in the video. You use that weapon to craft the Rhava Velar, which is this game's Crissaegrim.

If you fight the carpenter, he will create a chest, that has the inbrued fang in it. However, if you attack the carpenter while he is building the chest, he will summon arch demons. He is respawnable, but he has a high number of hit points.

I use the shard true shot arrow. Destroys anything in one two shots. U can destroy every boss n secrets one with true shot like its a joke. Best weapon for me.

Yeah it was. But the New One? I don't even mean the damage or the speed. I am talking about how many times the sword doesn't Hit the enemy. Frogs for example, they sometimes seem to just duck under the "countless blades"

Something i found out with a little test. Having all the offensice passives rank and grade to 9 Having optimizer equiped and having it as a perma skill. Having luck rank and grade 9 And using dantallion familiar with 9k enemies killed My eternal blue great sword has an ar of 740 so i do afound 740 a hit and double optimizer boosts gives my great sword ridic attack speed plus luck which makes crits extremly often i hit for 1k damage With this being said i found out with this the great aword gets more dps and kills faster than the crissaegrim which is hitting for like 170 damage a hit.

@@numnum3316i actually did more stuff to bump my gs ar to yhr max 999 since this post do i say in 3 sec maybe 5 hits with the super fast attack speed. i wanna say around 290-320 for cris. Just seems like my gs kills a bit faster tho with the constant and very fast 999-1400(crit) a hit

Yes, but with all of that stuff, you still have to pause movement if you swing while standing on the ground, whereas with the Crissaegrim, you don't. You will do less damage, but you will stay in motion 100% of the time and never have to worry about not being able to move when needed.

True Arrow is maybe the best damage in game and you get it super early.

true arrow does not follow up to end game damage.. it can carry you through very far since u can easily rank9 grade9 it. In the end i use the fire magic more as it just use ruby to +rank and +grade. True arrow somehow will cause a little bit animation delay that make you unable to spam it too.

Nice guide video, as always. I've choosed whips as my weapon of choice, and want to craft "Andromeda", which I believe is the endgame whip. But the recipe needs the whip "Albireo", which I can't find anywhere. It's a drop, I'm missing some recipe? Need some help here, pls. x_x

Albireo doesn't drop, you have to craft it. If Johannes doesn't have it yet available for crafting, you're missing its equipment book.

@@RodrigoSilva-jy8kb Maybe you already have it and don't have the necessary crafting pieces? for Albireo you need the whip Beast Killer (which you can craft too, but it's also a drop from the enemy Lamashtu -which is on the Secret Sorcery Lab area, the Lili-like girl in red), 2 Water Horse Mane (which drops from the horse-like enemy Glashtyn, on the Forbidden Underground Waterway section) and 1 Ice Ring (craftable, fairly simple to do, just a ring + a sapphire, which can be collected from chests in the Towers of the Twin Dragons section, or from the Shovel Armor enemy, on the water section, the same one as the horse from before). With those at hand, Albireo should show up on the crafting list. I bet you have it now on the list but it's painted in gray because you're missing some of those pieces I mentioned :D give it a try!

You have to "craft" the high jump shard, its made from the double jump shard + a bovine plume @ Joannes , after you have it you can double jump and do the high jump by pressing upwards+ L1/LB

Will the Imbrued Fang just not drop at all if you haven’t updated? I’ve hit 777 at least 5-6 times with no drop. Unfortunately I won’t be able to update the game for some time.

It has a low drop chance without 777. It's possible, just rare.

By the time you crafted this weapon, the damage it deals isnt worth the time anymore unless for collection. Technique which newly introduced in this game is super imba. Especially katana one. My full damage set up can deal 400~600+ x2 hits each jinrai slash. Its not even fully maximize my damage since my katana haven feed enough blood. In normal mode, i cant even remember any bosses has any worth mentioning skill before they die.. Except the one can suck all your money into its hp. Can slash left and right and things get done. Imho, this weapon is just great in one way which, attacking with this weapon does not stop your movement. You can move freely while attacking. Otherwise, dps wise i think the highest goes to katana and guns (400~600+ per hit without consuming ammo).

It's because it's a throwback to Symphony of the Night. It wasn't the most powerful weapon in that game, either, but it was pretty broken as it's the only weapon you can use without stopping your walk animation.

It has high damage input and no executions and these traits are enough to make people love it. It helps me to get through Master Carpener easily while i have troble on pinning him down before he summons bunches of monsters.

@@kingprimeKANG yes. It is barely worth it. If one has the equipments to repeatly farm Millionare's Bane without troubles, the equipments are already outperforming the razor. It is still very fun to pummel through boss rush though. Sustain damage means quick solution on stationary bosses.

As far as the base stats, that might have been due to a patch. They rebalanced a ton of weapons.

Rhava Valar (aka crissaegrim) is best weapon not by damage, but its fast attack can overlapped even highest DPS weapon. I used this weapon a lot for fast farming even secret boss fight looks like a joke.

If this hits 400 ATK normal and in Critical at least 700 ATK i would call it the best weapon but is not, in my opinion for me any other top weapon + 8 bit Fireball at level 9 is a destruction combination each fireball takes 300 + damage and throw 6 at the same time is crazy.

The boss will spin his slots and land on different combinations. One combination is 777. When he lands on this, he will die instantly and drop the item.

Unfortunately, that's why it's not dropping. On patch 1.02 or higher, it's a guaranteed drop.

I got this very early in the game. I think it dropped by an enemy but i dont recall exactly. I am about 60% done now. Its pretty low level so it doesnt to a lot of damage but its good for blowing through early points of thegame while keeping on the move.
