6:50 Luke nailed what turned me off from AEW last year. The forbidden door PPV has largely been AEW sweeping NJPW when a better story would be if AEW lost to build a better long term relationship. Instead, AEW took their top talent, and with HHH in charge, they’re pushing to isolate AEW from collabs. Which do you Wrestletalk guys think is the better move now at this point?

I’m telling you growing up watching the same issue… TBS has a stigma on the channel. Moving Dynamite off TNT and having collision on Saturday was not going to work with college sports more popular than ever, NFL moving to nearly every day, WWE PPVs moving to Saturday, and times just being different than the 1980s. It needed to be on Friday at 7pm EST.

How is it a stigma? TNT won’t have to move Dynamite if they had better ratings. Collision on the other hand, would be destroyed on Friday nights going head to head with SmackDown. Everything can be solved with big ratings and unfortunately, AEW doesn’t generate the ratings that WBD wants.

One thing I've been noticing is AEW doing more to tell their stories. TV matches tying into upcoming PPV matches rather than being random matches just to get certain talent on TV and things happening before/after matches that advance the story rather than immediately jumping to the next segment. I'm not sure who AEW has brought into the writers room lately, but whoever it is, they seem to be having the right effect.

Well, the reason for that is that Shane wants to be there. Tony is fine with anybody going to AEW if they love the place. But if you criticize Tony, then he hates you he doesn’t want you anywhere near him. He would never hire you because you didn’t praise him over and over and over again. Taking in Shane McMahon after making the comments about his family and the company would make Tony look like an idiot but fortunately for Tony he already is an idiot.

Exactly. Even though Shane is not guilty of any supposed sexual misconduct, he is still Vince's son. And the reason why TK even called WWE "Weinstein," was because of its past associations with Vince. So logically, if TK were to let Shane in, he would be letting in the family of the ones he called "Weinstein." Hypocrisy at it's finest.

MJF versus Garcia at Wimbley would be the equivalent of Rock versus Cody at last year's Mania. It's just disappointing when you have a locker room full of amazing talent to put up against MJF. I rather see him wrestle Swerve, Osprey, Omega, Takeashita, The Rain Maker, or even Hangman over Garcia. However I wouldn't be apposed to seeing Garcia challenge a newly added Ricochet. I just think Garcia is still just mid and his big matches are always kinda boring and not to mention the fact that he always looses the big one.

6:54 I really felt that, I like hunters long term storytelling, I just don't like the way he builds feuds most of the time, I feel like he needs to cool his jets with the triple threats, because his TV matches are starting to suffer in an effort to build pay-per-view matches, a lot of people complain about predictable pay-per-view matches ending predictably, but I feel like the most frustrating bit of predictability is that you can predict most of the matches on a RAW card to end in DQ

Luke being more hyped for some of the random matches on dynamite than he has been for any RAW review this year just proves that he should be reviewing AEW and not WWE. Honestly this year is the first year since it’s existence, I don’t really care for AEW. I tried to watch anything, including their KZfaq formats, but now I don’t even know many of their roster. It’s simply to much, with too many yet flat storylines. I hope I’ll find my love back in the next weeks/months. If I am completely wrong and AEW has been a banger for the last weeks, hit me up.
