I am sufaring 1 year reactive arthritis hla-b27 positive

You described it to a T. I had a terrible GI infection after a trip to Panama that resolved after a week or so with an antibiotic. A couple weeks later, the balls of my feet and tops of feet and toes started swelling. Then the left knee became so swollen it had to be aspirated and I had a steroid injection into the joint. Also swelling in the hip, SI and right wrist. An initial course of prednisone was prescribed but during the taper down phase after a week things flared up again. I could barely walk for 5 weeks. The back and foot and knee pain was so bad I had to crawl sometimes. Worst experience of my life. Lost over 30 pounds. Was diagnosed with ReA by a rheumatologist at the Mayo Clinic who has been great. Found out I’m HLA-B27 +. Negative for RF. Started Humira about two months ago and have seen big improvements. Now taking only 2.5 mg of prednisone daily compared to 30. Am able to exercise (swim and bike and some yoga and weights) longer and without the level of joint pain as before. Fatigue has improved quite a bit. Still have tendinitis and/or Enthesitis in the feet and knees, but joint swelling has gone away almost completely with some random post exercise hip or SI pain. Hoping to be able to get off the Humira after 6 months or so and hope this ReA is self limiting and goes away eventually. Think I’m on the right track?

Dna. Doctor, I am suspecting my 7 years old daugheter of ReA, with confirmed salmonella and subfebrile + knee swelling a few days (7) after entherocolitis threatment (amoxicilin was prescribed). After 2 days, the knee swelling dissapeared with no remanent pain, but now she started complaining about mild pain in bottocks which may indicate sacroiliitis. I'm confused about migratory arthritis and what defines arthritis after all. Somewhere I read that it arthritis is indicated by swelling or pain for more than 6 weeks in a row for one particular joint.... Could you please clarify this in corelation with ReA? Been diagnosed with Reactive Arthritis CRP was 68 . Im on predinsone seems to help a little but still not 100%. What other labs or medications should my Dr be looking into? Swelling in my ankle knee and wrist all on left side.

I was suffered with severe bloody loose motion for about 4 days after taking antibiotics i was not recovered fully then 3 days later pain started in right back pain earlier it was not severe pain later 2 days it became severe pain sir, then my left knee swollen and pain started in left knee also, both were severe pain sir! I had a complete hysterectomy and also got essenteric panniculitis since then which was in 2015 I have had severe joint pain inflammation chronic dry eye and mouth I’ve seen 4 rheumatologists 2 said I had Sernegative rheumatoid arthritis, one said I had it and shjournes and 2 said I had nothing more than fibromyalgia yet I’ve gotten tattoos and they don’t hurt my skin . I can’t find any relief as I’ve had the gastric sleeve surgery have a hiatal hernia gerd and an ulcer I can not take anything except Tylenol which doesn’t help. Any suggestions for me and why I can’t get a true diagnosis??
