I have owned a ts12 for about 5 years. I am not crazy about it. It hasn't held up to well; the deck is way more flimsy than most. The most aggravating thing is the shafts are easy to bend, when that happens the mower doesn't won't to drop the decks from folded up.

Hey, loved your in depth review. I also have an M7060 and am looking to purchase a bat-wing mower. I saw your video cutting with the 6 foot brush hog--have you used the Rhino in taller grass like that? I'm trying to understand how with a minimum HP of 35, the bat-wing compares a traditional bushhog. I've been running a John Deere MX8 and heavy grass can bring the RPMs right down.

Thanks for the nice comment! Honestly I think the 35HP minimum is all marketing hype. I think the cutter is too heavy for a tractor that small and would honestly be dangerous in anything other than very light cutting in perfect, flat field conditions. That said everything is relative, no I cannot cut as fast in taller heavy grass as with the six footer. However, I think I can cover the same ground quicker even in heavy cutting conditions, or at least much more comfortable because you will be going slower. It does seem that the 12 BW cutter is more efficeint than a smaller 3 point cutter. I doubt I will ever hook up to the 6 cutter with the M7060 again, as it lives on a NH 3930 I have also. Just for giggles I have a new L2501 with a rear remote so I may hook it to the Rhino to do a video of it running it, lol, should get a lot of views anyway. I have a phone mount now so I will post some videos of the M7060 cutting with it in the next month.

Running and Kubota 8950 shaft guards are the first thing gone, including the one on the tractor! I like to see spinning stuff to let me know all is well.

Thanks for the review. I farm on the Eastern Shore in Maryland. I also have a M7060, and I am looking for a 12 foot batwing mower. Do you still recommend this Rhino batwing?

I’m looking at the TS12 as well, and I also do business with Parish Tractor and with you about the Rhino. I would like to to know how it backs up with the new double swivel tongue. Thanks for the review.

you have a bolt loose on the wheel lift clyinder where the black rubber bushing is.

i have an M7060, looking at purchasing a TS12. just worried that it wont fit on my 24' gooseneck trailer with the loader set atop to gooseneck. What size trailer does your setup fit on?

I haven't actually trailered it but I feel pretty sure it would fit on a 25' GN. The way the wheels are tucked in close makes a a good bit shorter package compared to the competition.

I like this ts 12 model a lot. I'm torn between the ts 12 Rhino & the Bush Whacker MD 144. I'm leaning toward this model even though its more expensive than the Bush Whacker. I'm thinking the pan style when you ding it isn't as durable as the dog bone style. BW uses the pan style & Rhino uses the dog bone style. I appc the video comments.

My buddy has the BW 144 and it is heavier built for sure, maybe too heavy for what many like myself need in a 12' cutter.
