i have an M7060, looking at purchasing a TS12. just worried that it wont fit on my 24' gooseneck trailer with the loader set atop to gooseneck. What size trailer does your setup fit on?
@boltactionshooter2 жыл бұрын
I haven't actually trailered it but I feel pretty sure it would fit on a 25' GN. The way the wheels are tucked in close makes a a good bit shorter package compared to the competition.

I like this ts 12 model a lot. I'm torn between the ts 12 Rhino & the Bush Whacker MD 144. I'm leaning toward this model even though its more expensive than the Bush Whacker. I'm thinking the pan style when you ding it isn't as durable as the dog bone style. BW uses the pan style & Rhino uses the dog bone style. I appc the video comments.
@boltactionshooter2 жыл бұрын
My buddy has the BW 144 and it is heavier built for sure, maybe too heavy for what many like myself need in a 12' cutter.

I’m looking at the TS12 as well, and I also do business with Parish Tractor and with you about the Rhino. I would like to to know how it backs up with the new double swivel tongue. Thanks for the review.

*push the primer 6 times and let it rip I like the saw for the price👀 **allabout.wiki/Echo-CS** used maybe 10 tanks of fuel, 6 loads of hard wood and am very pleased with it. some will say its under powered for a 20" but I like it better then a 18". I have a 18" also which is great also just like the extra 2" inches. the saw is very light also which is nice. Huskavarna owns Echo so I am sure it will last. its not a sthl but still love it! I have seen some bad reviews on the saw but do not agree with them. some people told me not to waste my money but have since changed there mind. just have some common sense and cut some wood!*

I have owned a ts12 for about 5 years. I am not crazy about it. It hasn't held up to well; the deck is way more flimsy than most. The most aggravating thing is the shafts are easy to bend, when that happens the mower doesn't won't to drop the decks from folded up.

Thanks for the review. I farm on the Eastern Shore in Maryland. I also have a M7060, and I am looking for a 12 foot batwing mower. Do you still recommend this Rhino batwing?

Hey, loved your in depth review. I also have an M7060 and am looking to purchase a bat-wing mower. I saw your video cutting with the 6 foot brush hog--have you used the Rhino in taller grass like that? I'm trying to understand how with a minimum HP of 35, the bat-wing compares a traditional bushhog. I've been running a John Deere MX8 and heavy grass can bring the RPMs right down.
@boltactionshooter4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the nice comment! Honestly I think the 35HP minimum is all marketing hype. I think the cutter is too heavy for a tractor that small and would honestly be dangerous in anything other than very light cutting in perfect, flat field conditions. That said everything is relative, no I cannot cut as fast in taller heavy grass as with the six footer. However, I think I can cover the same ground quicker even in heavy cutting conditions, or at least much more comfortable because you will be going slower. It does seem that the 12 BW cutter is more efficeint than a smaller 3 point cutter. I doubt I will ever hook up to the 6 cutter with the M7060 again, as it lives on a NH 3930 I have also. Just for giggles I have a new L2501 with a rear remote so I may hook it to the Rhino to do a video of it running it, lol, should get a lot of views anyway. I have a phone mount now so I will post some videos of the M7060 cutting with it in the next month.

Cumberland Gal this was several years ago. Saw it earlier this year flowing about 5 times greater than this, roaring!
@Cumberlandgal19645 жыл бұрын
awesome! I can't even imagine. Royal Blue has some gorgeous scenery and fun rides. You can see a ton more stuff there if you are like you seem to be. You have to get off the machine and be willing to do a little walking! Check out Thirteen Hollow Falls if you haven't' already. Waterfall Branch Falls is hard to find, but worth it too. Lots of falls in there.
@boltactionshooter5 жыл бұрын
Yes I have ride a couple weeks up there all the time. RB, Tackett, Windrock and Brimstone. Tackett is the most challening to ride but also the best scenery. Have you been to the Sand Cave fall there? When it is flowing good it is unreal. Probably 90 feet high coming over the top of a HUGE sand cave!

That's a great setup, still like it?
@boltactionshooter5 жыл бұрын
Sure do! Spray several hundred gallons through it already. The lil BX seems kinda of lost in a 15 acre field but it did not take but about 2 hours total to cover it all and most of that time was refilling time.
@WPAOutdoors5 жыл бұрын
Nice! I’m looking for a sprayer to spray herbicide and fertilizer on a 2.5 acres field and I’m not sure if it’s worth investing on a great setup like yours or go with a cheaper option since it’s not that big of a field. Anyway, thanks for showing your setup.

did you ever figure out what was making the noise ?
@boltactionshooter5 жыл бұрын
It is normal noise. I made this video when the machine was new. Over 3000 miles now and no issues. I did pull primary at about 2000 miles to check the 3 cover bolts behind it that are know to get lose and they were all in place but all fairly loose. I put high temp loctite and reinstalled them.

3 bolts behind the primary have backed out making contact with your primary. That'd be my guess anyways. Pull primary, take each bolt out one at a time, red thread lock, and tighten. I don't have the torque specs, but I cranked mine down tight. Haven't had a problem since. All 2016 turbos I have seen do this btw. Hope this fixes it, let me know.
@boltactionshooter6 жыл бұрын
No they haven't. That video was when it was new. It now has well over 2500 miles on it and the primary has never been off and still on stock belt. I plan on pulling it before my next big ride to check them though. I knew about the loose bolt issue before I bought it. Never been able to get the primary off but I'm going to try a new trick this time. I was able to look at them with a borescope and they "looked ok".

They are awesome in every condition. I ride mostly East TN trails but have a week and hundreds of AZ desert miles too and no issue. I have broken one stock rear axle but I was in a serious bind in huge rocks high centered and was well into the danger zone when I did it. I run Rhino 2.0 axles now.

my xp 4 turbo is doing this after 28 hours of use. What is it? I'm trying to determine if something is loose or if I should take it to the dealer for warranty.
@boltactionshooter7 жыл бұрын
If it is a 2016 you need to make sure the recall/service bulletin was done on the clutch. Other than that the noise is normal and you don't notice it with the cover on. I was just overly worried after reading all the stories on RZR Forum. Got read up there for more than you will ever need to know.
