Rhode Island may be the tiniest state in the U-S, but it is a mighty force in history and beauty.
It was founded around sixteen thirty-six by Roger Williams, a religious exile from Massachusetts,
Rhode Island was one out of the Thirteen Colonies to renounce allegiance to the British Crown.
It was also the last colonies to adopt the U-S Constitution. In such a small state, "Little Rhody" is full of the most well-known tourist destinations. Newport is America's most well-known destination for the rich, during the golden era of the 20th century. Its famous mansions were built to compete with the grand palaces of European royals.
However, Providence was rich in the earlier times, and its merchants became rich through the slave trade and other lucrative trades. Rhode Island has an extensive coastline, a rich industrial heritage, and a picturesque islet. Its nickname as the Ocean State is fitting since it boasts hundreds of miles of shoreline along the Atlantic Ocean, each foot is awe-inspiring beauty.

Pronunciations were horrible but they missed all the great spots! Sachuest! Stepping stone falls! Trusom Pond! Moonstone! East Beach! Charlestown Breachway! Chepachet! Pawtuxet Village! The Redwood Library! The Paine House Museum! I could go on and on! I love RI! We have it all!

I visited Rhode Island 3 years ago for my birthday and that was the best mimi vacation i had except for a few difficulties with the travel site i book my flight and hotel with and covid running high at that time but other than that i had a great time in Rhode Island i even cried when i was leaving the airport because my time was short and i knew i had to head back to home to Indiana

Late spring to mid fall is ideal. But summer there are the most places open because summer tourism is very popular. We are the ocean state after all!

Geat video but the commentator mispronounces so many words. Apparently she's had no exposure to saying Versailles or Venetian. It's amazing how academically unaware so many people are.

Sloppily done with many careless errors, particularly grossly mispronounced locations. Refers to Colt State Park as being near Bristol. It is in Bristol! Refers to Benefit street as being “on the Island”. I am surprised the Elms in Newport was not mispronounced. If one is going to do a video on RI at least figure out how to pronounce Matunuck and Aquidnick . Sorry for the negativity. Funny that she pronounced Matunuck the same way my GPS does. Mat-n-uck.
