They were rocking one of these at Synthfest a few days ago, does sound marvelous. On a Dulcitone note - I spoke to the granddaughter of Thomas Machel a while back and she had a photo of them stood outside their shop in Glasgow about 100 years ago. Nice to put some faces to the Dulcitone story. I'll have to dig it out.

But listening to that distortion, it wasn’t even a question. And that deeper body, more rounded low end would help it sit nicely in the mix too :)

Hey Christian, Thanks for all you do. I’ve been having a lot of issues with my mk8, a lot of buzz and barely any sound coming out at times, and seemingly no buzz when compared side by side to my Wurlitzer, on the same power bar and the same amp input. Very strange. The Mk8 was seemingly working a little better when it first arrived but the buzz has been persistent and not circumventable regardless of where it’s being plugged into or volume levels - no other instrument of mine has the same issue. Have you experienced anything similar?
